So the question when you asked the gentlemen about the conditions of Rikers Island. What you have to put into play is that every jail runs totally different. Facilities are structured different what he seen in NIC you’re probably not going to see in another facility. Every facility layout is totally different. For an example the facility I work at the majority of the housing areas or dorms. In the dorm the capacity can run up to 60 individuals in that dorm. It’s up to the inmates who would assigned the job of running sanitation running the feeding cleaning, so yes, some people jump on Interviews and try to downplay the facilities, but the reality of it is, it’s not the officers that’s making these facilities look like this. it’s the individuals and custody that’s doing it the ones who starting fires the ones who are basically overdosing on drugs and potentially harming themselves, and some expire due to that. So everyone is all in favor of closing down Rikers island, which, in the reality of it all closing the island is not going to change what goes on in a facility. People in custody are still going to do drugs harm themselves and or others. So when you open the borough facilities, my question is what are you going to say when things that happening in Rikers Island are happening in the borough? Close the jails? And a Big shout out to Leroy Ebron. That’s the CO I push myself to be

This guy starts the conversation with a "you reap what you sow in life" (which I very much agree with) and proceeds to spend the rest of the pod talking about inmates not getting what they're "entitled" to. I'm sorry but these hardened criminals probably ruined many people's lives, I'm not caring about all the stuff they're "entitled" to after murdering somebody. Go be a counselor, would suit you better.

23:56 Disabilities both mental and physical are ignored in a American society. It's not always an excuse some people have issues where they just can't do something or need help to do something, this is highlighted with both the youngest and oldest of a society. Without proper community and or family support most individuals will struggle and or fail at some point. One can do it alone for only so long. So if you feel disabled you can try and work hard but also realize you can't do it all alone. Have faith and patience. Pray and believe.
