@@maskedtonez I never warched Boruto until I saw this and I still don't like him. His Dub voice sucks and I have a hard time believing he can keep up with his Dad or his Mentor in any way. The story is just so eye rollingly cliche too but seeing Naruto give Merz the death glare and hearing him and Sasuke counter his arguements made it bearable, especially since it shows how much Naruto learned from Pain back in Shippuden.

I like how this dude tries to surpass pain with fake sharingans basically a second class grade of kakashi, and has to draw sufficient chakras to sustain it and uses it, and pain has rinnegan, even though it was nagato's eyes and technically which belonged to madara. So i haven’t played this game and therefore don’t know all of the story but from what I have seen this guy Merz seems to sort of idolize Pain which to me is weird because they literally have opposing ideals. Merz wants the world to remain in conflict while Pain wanted to end all conflict. There could be something I’m missing since I don’t know the whole story but this just seems weird to me.

I would say the shark jump threshold appeared for me during the Fourth Ninja War arc. When Madara simply TURNED OFF being sent back to the afterlife despite being one of Kabuto's Edo Tensei zombies, I was definitely went "okay, what, that's bullshit." Then of course he got the 10 Tails power and became so damn strong that he could only be beaten by a new character being brought into the story, which made me say "I think Kishimoto is just making this shit up as he goes." The flaw of "resurrected guy can cancel constraints of resurrection jutsu" seems like such an obvious flaw for the user to correct for, similar to preventing the resurrected guy from killing himself.

@@Montesama314ehh, within the bounds of what was established with the Edo Tensei, i think madara being able to do that makes sense the only other shinobi who was resurrected that knew the hand signs of the edo tensei was 2nd hokage & kabuto did not resurrect 2nd hokage. Kabuto also could have decided to NOT give the resurrected bodies free will but he decided to do that. throughout the series itachi always said that EVERY jutsu has a flaw/weakness. and madara did not even know for 100% certain that he would be able to release himself from it. he just tried it & then it ended up working i don’t get how you can draw the line at madara being able to do that, but not at the fact that pain can just willingly bring people back to life or what about itachi technically also breaking out of the edo tensei, by casting his own genjutsu on himself and then going to fight the caster of the edo tensei? i think 95% of naruto fans would agree that the series jumped the shark at either the point when naruto & sasuke got the powers from sage of 6 paths (because that literally came out of nowhere), or when madara got backstabbed by black zetsu & taken over by kaguya

We have all Storm Games, a trilogy, a Storm Collection and now, about 7 years later, we get the same Storm Collection with nothing too amazing about it but a new Story Mode that's just fancy cutscenes. The Boss Battles aren't interesting and the QTEs also triggered the cinematic scenes in a boss which were fun and the reason I loved Naruto vs Pain from Storm 2 and Naruto vs Sasuke from Storm 3. This was just a desperate attempt to milk the Storm Series. They could have just picked up a new series like JJK
