Here’s a fact: the biggest reason for homelessness is the sudden and immediate loss of family. It can happen to any of us. This song hit the nail on the head. Riley, if you’re reading this, there is a ministry here in Florida that houses the chronically homeless and I would love to talk to you about how to get this in front of them and the community that’s supporting them. Now if you don’t mind, I’ll be playing this on repeat for the next little while.

This song brings me to tears. My grandpa lived that life and is currently fighting dementia. It’s hard to believe this country sent all of our young men to fight in a civil war in Vietnam and many of the survivors managed to make it home and live happy lives because of their faith in God.
