I am SO glad to hear someone else validate her talent in the same way that I see it - she is exceptionally, brilliantly talented and smart, and yes, I hope she gets nominated for and wins an Oscar one day (either for directing or acting, or both). She probably asks not to talk much about the famous background with all the nepo stuff out there now and wanting to have her own identity. She's very accomplished on her own. Of course as the owner of Graceland now she has to wear that hat as well and she co executive produced an excellent Elvis Christmas special on NBC over the holidays. Kelly did show that picture where she got to meet the group Hansen as a kid in the 90's which was a little tease about her background.

Her mother was out of scientology when she passed, and according to an interview last year, Riley is not a scientologist either

Both Priscilla and Lisa Marie were Scientologists for years. Lisa defended the religion, met her first husband (Riley's Dad) at a Scientology center and raised her kids as Scientologists. However, Lisa and her mom left the church, no longer are Scientologusts.
