Beautifully shot rainy day scenes, Old Bombay looked sure free of flooding , no sewage water flowing out.. I was quite shocked to experience a harsh truth in 1991.Flooding after just 3 days of monsoon rains there!!! Alas..every major Indian city has gone the Bombay way in recent decades.. Delhi- NCR, Kolkata, Chennai, Bengaluru, Cochin, Mangalore... and so on

#yes definitely the killer one no doubt/s, no second thought/s ever, the majestic magic of Indian Film Industry aka BOLLYWOOD, don't mind me saying "BOLLYWOOD" coz many of our yesteryear actors, in front of camera & behind doesn't like this nomenclature, but but but har woh cheez jo eternal ho jati hai usee naya naam dete hai 2 make it universal.kya bolte hai usee...yes mass/universal appeal, matlab poori duniya pe chah jaye and the world generation after generation listen, feel & get inspired. So thnx BOLLYWOOD for inspiring generation after generation ❤ I m 52 from Noida India and I saw this song & movie on Doordarshan when I was in college and and the song still kind of haunts me as a stress-buster in this cruel mad mad world 🌎 💔

Marine lines, Fort, Azad maidan, Gate way of India in rains...those double decker buses, ambassador cars and kaali peeli taxi...all was the beauty of my Mumbai...I wish I had a time machine to go back in time when it was all so pure and untouched, where everything was so simple and yet beautiful...😍❤️🤞

This song shows the genius of RD Burman and his tenacity to always challenge the tradition and the norm. He gave this fast preppy number to Lata Mangeshkar who was a classically trained singer whereas the semi-classical version was given to Kishore Kumar who was not a classically trained singer. And when comparing both songs, in my honest opinion, Lata Mangeshkar's version is far superior simply because the amount of variations she used in such a fast-paced song is truly astounding without losing the breath or the rhythm. I believe RD Burman, Lata Mangeshkar and Kishore Kumar are demi-gods, who were born in our lifetime with a divine inspiration. And we are lucky that we are in a time where these songs are readily available to listen to whenever we can. May their souls rest in heaven! LK 🇱🇰 🇱🇰 🇱🇰

After seeing this movie I took my wife in the rain singing "pyar hua ekrar hua hai pyar sey phir kyon darta hai dil." it a was fun filled days. we never ha a single naya paisa because of low salary, but we enjoyed a lot. after living for 32 years with me, she left me alone last weak. now I have only her memories. there are 1000s of songs with me, each attached with a memorable incident - some sad, some funny, ...................
