I love that everyone who watch Slime for the first time with no prior knowledge always sus out Diablo when the truth is dude just simping for genderless slime demon lord

Interestingly, the two demons eaten by Beelzebub were pervertedly excited and happy to be eaten by Rimuru. Apparently there are many strange people among the black devils.

People lose sight of the fact that...the ENTIRE NATION passed out because of Rimiru's "gifts" to them. Because he named all of them. That's the "connection." And as much as people think Diablo is sus, he single-handedly watched over them until everyone woke up. Youm, Myulan, and Grucius were obviously still awake and watching over them. But it's fuckin Diablo. Dude can solo a whole country on a bad day. And all he did was protect them and simp over Rimiru. Demon or not, Diablo best-boi.

Just to clarify, the subtitles didnt say the full titles of both raphael and beelzebub, first raphaels full name is "Ultimate Skill : Wisdom King Raphael - Lord of Wisdom" of the Heavenly Series Ultimate Skills, and beelzebub is actually the wrong name altogether, its correct name and title is "Ultimate Skill : Gluttonous King Beelzebuth - Lord of Gluttony" of the Demonic Series Ultimate Skills. The reason its called "Beelzebuth" and not "Beelzebub" is because of a minor spoiler ahead, when everyone gets the gifts of the Harvest Festival, Geld refuses to accept it citing that he didnt deserve it after what he considered was a poor performance on his part during the Falmuth War, but thanks to that he was granted a lesser form of Gluttonous King : Beelzebuth known as Gourmet King : Beelzebub, it has all of the same skills as Beelzebuth but doesnt require the computational capacity of Wisdom King : Raphael to fully utilize, as a consequence it has a substantially smaller range, but it makes up for it by being voracious within that range. Additionally since both Beelzebuth and Beelzebub are fro the same family tree, Beelzebub shares Beelzebuths infinite dimensional storage, allowing rimuru to transfer vast amounts of resources to Geld instantly. This makes Geld the literal Backbone of Tempests Logistics War-machine as well as Tempests Civil/Military Infrastructure Developments. Another super major spoiler for those who want to be spoiled is that this isnt even Wisdom King Raphaels final form, nor is it Gluttonous King Beelzebuths final form. Raphael will eventually evolve into a superior god being called Manas : Ciel and she develops emotions, personality, a heart, and feelings for rimuru. While Gluttonous King Beelzebuth evolves into the first and most powerful of the Eldritch Series Ultimate Skills - "Ultimate Skill : Void God Azathoth - Lord of Nihility" becoming so powerful that even among ultimate skills it can dominate them all without challenge. And finally for thw super duper major spoiler of this comment, Wisdom King Raphael and consequently Manas : Ciel, contains the soul of Stellar King Dragon Veldanava's beloved wife, Lucia Nava. So basically Milim Nava's *MOM* loves rimuru.

It should be noted that Rimuru’s evolution into a true demon lord should’ve stopped at adding a few new skills, resistances, and nullifications while reacquiring his old ones upon his racial evolution. Great Sage requested an evolution on her own volition. If it weren’t for that, Rimuru would’ve never acquired the Ultimate Skills Raphael and Beelzebuth. Keep in mind that a skill having its own mind and will, acting without any input from the holder, is incredibly rare, if not unprecedented. Even Diablo/Noir could only wonder about the possibility, but he quickly dismisses that thought. (Source: Either the light novel or web novel)

For clarity, since its explained in the light novel but not in the anime. There is "The Voice of the World" that will give individuals skills/abilities/resistances, but normally its not very often. Rimaru breaks the world in that respect by having a slimes infinitely adaptable body, a educated persons intellect, then all the magic in the world after swallowing a dragon. Normally its supposed to be much, much harder to just get skills. (Unlike Rimaru who is just eating attacks & surving to gain new skills) The "Great Sage" skill is modeled after the Voice of the World, which is why they sound exactly the same. So here we are actually hearing the Voice of the World giving the evolutions, new skills, & skill sharing to the minions, then Great Sage trying to upgrade skills and combine them. (And Great Sage used Rimarus body to perform the ritual of revival, but most people already see that part anyway)

The Great Sage/Raphael is my favorite Character in this Series.

Was entertaining, watching these folks responses to an epic anime moment. Not many shows pull off a situation and scenario like this with such... Weight, to it. But, "TTIGRAAS" does it beautifully. Excellent example is how well they thread the music into these key and major moments. (Watch this scene, if you don't believe me.)
