RimWorld Biotech's Mechanitor - A solo colonist run in the desert on the hardest difficulty bumped up to 500%and without using pause!
This RimWorld playthrough is played against Randy Random, on Losing is Fun difficulty bumped up to 500% (the maximum). The gameplay takes place on a desert map. Adam is not allowed to have additional pawns but will try to defeat max sized raids (eventually).

This playthrough was recorded LIVE. As such, I am speaking with chat throughout.
*No Pause - I am using a mod that disables pause in every portion of the game. This means it is impossible for me to pause with a key press and the game will not pause during events or trade, making things much more difficult.
** Losing is Fun set to +500% is the hardest difficulty in unmodded RimWorld

that person is WILD... In minor defense, youve mentioned that thief like 4 times this run (but also this run has been over many weeks, and you didnt mention it in pretty much any run ive watched and ive seen most of them) and them calling it "whining" is actually hilarious and infuriating, what a frustrating person to deal with... I remember the first time you mentioned I had to go search around to find the channel that was doing it, and did. Kinda funny with that hbomb video essay on youtube and plagarism being relatively recent. good on you for dealing with them pretty well, I hope you dont get more monkeys like that.

Crater is probably my favorite map from geological landforms. One way in, one way out. But for the theme I agree lone mountain feels right. Almost like the vampire hives from the movie Priest!

GG! Sad I missed it live. 20 years is such a long time for a run in this game, and having to play through three times.. god it gets repetitive. After the first go around, most of your pawns are usually sporting good weapons and bionic limbs, so having to rebuild is sort of just delaying the inevitable.

Question: Can the Find Ancient Complex reward from a ritual find a Mechanitor Complex? i.e. locate extra mechlinks? Forgive if this was answered somewhere in the playthrough i am following with the edited version

Sanguophage needs a "transsylvanian" setting ofc, lone mountain fits. But here's a thought, would it be possible do a dual base setup with the "cave entrance" as an easy and safe route between bases, since raids don't spawn in caves? Would be superfun to have a vampires only base, and then a huge slave colony on the other map. Maybe keep a load of tamed bugs as guard dogs? That'd be such a crazy setup if it worked lol!

Good in theory, however the processor load would make for very shitty gameplay at so few FPS/TPS.

I took 19 to the archo and had no mechs also. Not pawn based.

I think this ending is for the base builders and combat averse. Im guessing that's why there's no combat challenge at the end. I know you hate the ending but some people just play the game differently to how you do

It's just weird that sometimes there is a fight and sometimes not. Seems pretty random that way at 500% at least.

@@AdamVsEverything I absolutely get you and pretty much all your suggestions i agree with. It's odd that you can pick the location etc
