[Rimworld] Vanilla Outposts Expanded: Additional Outposts Mod

This is a showcase of mod made by me. Mod add new outpost types to complement Vanilla Outposts Expanded. New outposts should help your pawns with high Construction/Medicine/Cooking/Artistic... skills find their outpost where they are most useful.

Бро, это реально круто, я хоть в римку играю 2 недели и только в ванилу, но обязательно попробую моды в дальнейшем

Ah I just saw your mods in the workshop last night. Since you also made a mod that lets you make outposts send their output to other outposts, any chance we can get the option for certain outposts to require an input? Such as steel for manufacturing and raw food for the restaurant?

I did consider that when was making it and it this question was raised before, so the short answer is that VOE not really have support for such and changing it from my side is really problematic. For Logistics mod all that needed is to add ability to select outposts as targets and allow them to handle it, while here it would require to rewrite quite a big chunk of core code of VOE for it to work, which wouldn't be very effective aproach. So that's basically the reason why it prob won't be happening with current state.

@@HydraDigitalDevelopment That's a little disappointing but completely understandable. I have other ideas though which might be easier. An orphanage which slowly acquires orphaned children. An immigration office of some kind which acquires new people very slowly by default but given policies can be made faster, but less valueable or in some ways problematic pawns.

Related to this ones also had similar requests, the reason was is that VOE already had Town Outposts, which provide colony with chance to recruit new colonists, plus I already made Border Post, which also had different way to acquire trespassers as prisoners. So I trying not to repeat same functionality, when making new Outpost types. Orphanage itself might work, but I wanna finish making 1 Outpost for each DLC first before doing multiple for some of them. So this one do have chances, but will take awhile.
