I loved the soundtracks and scores from these early Disney Channel Original Movies... wow, what a time to be alive back then. I miss it. Things seem to be going in the wrong direction these days..

I can't BELIEVE this! A Disney mermaid movie I never saw as a kid? I am ashamed in myself!

In case anyone is wondering, this is the best DCOM of all time. Be prepared to cry, though. I've cried at two movies, and this is one of them. I didn't even cry at Grave of the Fireflies...

To be honest, I never really got the point of these mermaid scenes.....was she a mermaid or were they just a symbolism for something or were they just there to look pretty?

I HIGHLY doubt this was made before The 13th Year. The 13th Year came out around 1998-2000. I'm almost positive Ring of Endless light was 2003.

This is from A Ring of Endless Light, not thirteenth year, trust me. Ryan Merriman was in both movies, but Mischa Barton definitely wasn't. She could understand the dolphins in this movie.

@Bay424 I f-ing love the book. I first read it like eight years ago, and I still re-read it all the time. The movie was just...odd. Really cheesy and silly and weird. Definetly nothing even remotely close to being as good as the book.

A Disney "Original"...no, you borrowed it off from Madeleine L'Engle's novel of same name and fucked up this adaptation like you did Tuck Everlasting. Fuck, Disney just couldn't adapt any classics properly without putting their own stupid spin/agenda in it.
