This video, my social accounts, my art, my life mission... is intended to be uplifting, inspirational and validate that life is messy for sure! All of my art comes from a place of personal experience. I will be the first to admit, I don't have a plan, I don't have it all figured out, but I have the only solution I need. The willingness to show up for life and participate. No matter how chaotic, unpredictable and as messy as it gets. Why? Because I have witnessed life from a place of inner-peace and have seen how beautiful chaos can truly be.

I appreciate your inconsiderate uneducated response. Destructive criticisms say more about you than my art. So I’ll continue doing what I do best by looking past your ignorance. Some day you and others like you will realize to people like us your ill will is just self projected insecurities. Maybe you will get familiar with the subtle art of not giving a fuck. Cuz that’s where I’m at in regards to tolerating negativity. Good luck. You’re in for a rude awakening in the New Age. ✌🏼💋

@PouredSoulArt
@PouredSoulArt 3 жыл бұрын
I actually mix and sell my own line of paints because I custom mix all the colors that remain exclusive to my brand. My signature colors can be found on Etsy as premixed “Ready-2-Pour” paints. I also sell my pouring medium blend in clear or shimmer. I’m always happy to take requests for any custom color orders as well, these are mixed to order and usually ship in 3-5 days. Free shipping for all US orders over $35 & I offer international shipping too. Hope this helps.

What medium and ratio do you use
@PouredSoulArt
@PouredSoulArt 2 жыл бұрын
Hi Elizabeth! Thanks for reaching out. I mix my own blend of mediums and the ratio is usually 3:1 medium to acrylic paint. I sell my pouring medium on Etsy in two finishes, regular matte and a shimmer. Both dry clear but the shimmer obviously leaves a sparkle to the paint. I’ve had luck with liquitex as an artist brand of pouring medium in the past, as well as Floetrol for the pocket friendly version. They work, but neither gave me the exact results I was looking to achieve, which prompted me to start testing and experimenting with my own version. When I was satisfied, I eventually began offering it on Etsy. It’s gotten great reviews along with my ready-2-pour premixed paints. Leaves the guess work out of creating! Haha. Please let me know if I can help in anyway. I’m on IG & FB as well. Reach out anytime. Best of luck & keep creating! ❤️ Kate @PouredSoulArt

Hola me podes decir que materiales usas a parte del acrílico?gracias
@PouredSoulArt
@PouredSoulArt 3 жыл бұрын
It’s acrylic paints mixed with a pouring medium. I have the mix that’s specific to my brand available in my Etsy shop. I also have my own line of premixed “Ready-2-Pour” paints on Etsy too for those who choose not to mix their own. This paint is ready to use right from the bottle. Depending on where you are from you can also use something called Floetrol, you can find it in the paint section at a home improvement store. Others like to use an artist brand, in which case Liquitex sells an artist brand medium. I have heard of people using water, but I feel it breaks down the binders in the paint. Some have used PVA Glue as well, but personally I was never able to get that technique to work for me. All of them a little different with slightly different results. But they all help you achieve the fluidity you look for when you pour. Hope this helps!

@susan1098
@susan1098 3 жыл бұрын
Poured Soul Art oh ok. But “red metallic” isn’t just “red”. Metallic has an additional mixture to make it “metallic”. Your painting is beautiful, but you said it was “red”. Not “red metallic”. Their is a difference between both colors.
@PouredSoulArt
@PouredSoulArt 3 жыл бұрын
Susan Kellogg 😂🤣 oy 🤦🏼‍♀️ & no where did I mention this being a tutorial or I would have been specific. However it’s a video on technique like the title suggests. Bringing color theory to someone who professionally mixes paints and deals with colors all day long is a tad insulting. I mean I could ramble 10 red colors with different pigment weights which also make them different, but that’s a lesson for another day. & if you’ve ever made a KZfaq video you’d also know that the title is keyword real estate. The word “metallic” didn’t make the cut. Appreciate the support though.
@susan1098

Poured Soul Art oh my goodness. I’m not being critical. I loved your pour paint. I didn’t take it as a tutorial either. I simply enjoyed watching your video. I just thought I would mention it. Warning.. The information below could trigger some people.. The warning signs of pour addiction All below statements should be read as if they are a question.. You begin to notice that your loved one has paint on literally all their clothes.. Even their swimsuit robe and pj's When u go shopping, all they say is eww I could pour on that or I wonder what kind of pattern that would make Random House hold items suddenly come up missing.. Ex. Dust pan.. Dishes of any kind of strainers, hairdryers, combs. ( basically, if it's missing, they are pouring w it) They begin spending an obscene amount of money on something called "flotral".. They start giving away paintings at every holiday or even just random occasions.. And I know this may first appear as a kind gesture.. But don't be fooled.. They simply have run out of space for more paintings.. They drop all other hobbies.. Activities.. Even friends and family are sometimes pushed to the side.. 😥 sad.. (Lol) The only places they are interested in going to are places like Hobby Lobby.. Michaels.. And yes, Walmart, but only as a last option and only in the paint section Your house suddenly looks like an art gallery that no one ever takes their art from... They just keep bringing more in and rearranging them to make them fit.. They become incredibly excited and overwhelmed by something called this little piggy paint.. ( This is one of the most dangerous signs.. This means they are on the hard stuff) 😂 And last but certainly not least, u begin to notice paint all over the house in strange places.. The tub, the kitchen, sinks the dining room table, the back porch.. Pretty much anywhere they are able to clear a 5 by 5ft section of space... Some people have even lost entire rooms to this disease.. Please just know there is finally help as I plan to start a 12 step program.. I am not only a survivor myself but I have seen so many friends go down this road.. Well, I need to go. All this talk has triggered me into a relapse, and I need to mix paint for the next 2 hours.. 🥰😉☺ 🤣🤣 love y'all!! Keep pouring. Let's learn to be functioning addicts together!! Lol

No one claimed it was hard. You made an assumption. Kids in kindergarten can pour milk too, but do you see them whipping up wedding cakes with it? There’s a science behind it that only you’d know of you had tried. But it’s obvious you’re willing to criticize someone who does it that do it yourself. You obviously never used creative expression to heal from trauma as an adult or maybe you’d be a lot more compassionate in your comments. ✌🏼

I agree! Anyone can agree or disagree with what art is or isn’t. The point is, no one can argue the meaning and emotion put into a piece of art by an artist. Regardless if people call it art or not, it doesn’t take away the process taken by the the artist to produce. People are silly to argue such ridiculous things. The point of my work isn’t to become famous with paintings hung in famous galleries. At the end of the day my art is a tool to help me cope with my life and the things I find hard to express verbally or to others. I’m not very outgoing or open with people and so for me, art is healing because it’s a way to release built up emotions and process them in a positive way. I am someone who has dealt with self destructive behavior my whole life. This is the first time that I’ve chosen to deal with my struggles in a healthy way. If people don’t see the underlying benefits to the “art of healing” and just want to throw out the idea of it being art... then so be it. No one will ever invalidate me for the progress I have made in my life because I creatively express myself. That’s an art in its own right.

@PouredSoulArt I applaud you for this explanation. I've read some, well, mostly all of the comments about your work except for the ones after this response. People can be so cruel and rude with a rudimentary mindset. I'm not an artist, but I so love being creative with creating beautiful things. I just recently did a piece with using acrylic pouring paint to make a gift for my daughter's co-worker who is Greek affiliated (A.K.A.) and I love the results of "My"art because it's what "I" created. People like you and I who understand that you don't have to be an artist to create art are clueless. I Love what you have created here and have learned a few tips as well. If this is what helps you to cope with your struggles, continue to do what's best for Y-O-U. Blessings to you and you as well keep on Kreating Art 🎨 💖
