Strensall cubs got shown round the mister, and got to hear the bells ring up close. It sounded much louder than it does in the video.

Nope. The ringing disappears eventually. It was the bigger bell that made the room vibrate that impressed us the most.

@@jsnxbskscnskcnskcjbzjzjbvd Nope. They are unique and custom to the Minster. The tune is based on a hymn tune known as "York."K Kinda makes me wish I heard that tune on a grandfather/mantle clock. And more unique than the clichéd Westminster Chimes any day.

it chimed seven times on great peter so it was either 7am or 7pm
