The Rings of Saturn Self Titled Full Length Album will be released tomorrow on all digital platforms just in time for our Cyber Shred Tour 2022! We will be playing most of the new album live on this tour along with some older fan favorite tracks as well! Having just finished our new album this week, and unfortunately due to international vinyl shortages and other delays on physical media production in general, we will not have vinyl or CD's of our new album on this tour. It was our priority to release this album before the tour for our fans digitally, and we plan on pressing vinyl and CD's at a later date for everyone which will be available on IndieMerchstore in the future! For now the best way to support the band is to come out to the Cyber Shred Tour 2022, and buy all of the new merch we just dropped for this tour and on Indiemerchstore! We are also restocking many of our older designs this week as well on our store! ONE YEAR REVIEW👽: I like it more now, it’s 110% as heavy and creative as a Rings fan would want, they used a mature composition style and delayed gratification in this album. They don’t just hit you with non stop DJONT and blast beat shreddies…they will give that to you, but you’re gonna listen to some strong ideas first. RECCOMENDED STILL, MORESO🤘 EDIT: whenever it switches from the beat to the band, it drops so FFing hard! It literally slaps you in the face with a djent EDIT: I think a lot of people wanted this album to sound like their old stuff, but it’s not like they have gone soft. This is heavy a F****. And very genius sounding and classical. It is like their old stuff. It’s metal made by aliens. It sounds more alien than before!! This is Ultra-Rings EDIT: the synth lead in track 2 was NASTTY and unexpected! What a THICC sound!

Honestly, this is sick! We know RoS has done all possible things with their original style and this is a solid and drastic change but still feels natural. RoS can bring back their style anytime they want but you get bits of original style sprinkled in between along with new stuff which is brilliant. This also feels like is gonna open RoS up to a wider audience. If I miss anything, it's Ian's iconic voice, he could've featured in one of the tracks or maybe RoS can release a remixed version of one of these songs featuring him which would be dope. All in all, dope stuff, lots of variety going on which I always prefer, and lastly feels fresh and unique.

I got mixed feelings on the album, I respect the direction your going in, Its definitely more accessible to audiences that don't traditionally listen to metal. I think its just a me problem that I despise those 808 drum beats. They feel so out of place for a metal band. But when the metal drums come back in the songs are amazing. I think I'm just wearing rose tinted glasses of the past from embryonic anomaly and dingir. Sector 80 is my favorite honestly because it has that Rings of Saturn style I will always love.
