Methodology
1) I gathered data from myanimelist to find all the Anime. The .csv files containing search interest values were downloaded from Google Trends for every anime.
2) Ammount Search Tool determined the average monthly search volume for every anime.
3) The number of searches per month for each calendar year were proportioned based on official reports from Google.
4) Data modeling through an algorithm invented by me to obtain the most realistic data possible.
5) Search interest values and proportioned monthly search volumes were placed in Excel for calculations.
6) The data was placed into Flourish Studio to create the data visualization piece.
7) Image and audio assets were added with Wondershare Filmora.

They’re all impressionable but the way One Piece came in and seeing those numbers took my breath away. The live action release and gear 5 really boosted it even further which is crazy. It’s been out for so long and is still going strong. I’m happy to see it!

As someone who has read the original, I will say that Solo Leveling is a wildly overrated work. The plot idea and background are interesting, but the rest is not worth a penny. The plot is flat and uninteresting, the characters are boring, there is no development for the main character, he just gets everything for free without any effort. As an author myself I'm glad for the SL author that he managed to make a bestseller, but I've seen much better work, which is many times better than Solo Leveling.

One Piece has also surpassed sales of comic books of both Spiderman and Batman and is set to surpass Superman by this year and they have been running for twice or almost thrice as long as One Piece. So, your point is invalidated that One Piece became famous only due to live action and One Piece's manga and anime have been topping charts every year for 20+ years, that's no small feat. One Piece is like the eldest son who’s next in line to the throne. AOT is the second oldest who’s always out of town but whenever he’s back for a short while he gets mad popularity the other can’t even dream of. JJK is the third oldest who’s popular around town due to his naughty antics. Frieren is the eldest daughter who’s always getting the sons out of trouble. And Solo Leveling is a wild card who just came into town out of no where and is trying to overthrow the royal family.

MHA community won't even COMPARE to these jjk fans and how cringe they are with these youtube jjk skits, TikTok cringe videos/cosplays, and don't even get me started on the gojo D1 Glazers. This is the type of anime for me where you'd feel like ''i don't wanna be near/around these people'' which just really changes and impacts my point of veiw and spoils the whole anime for me, it's truly annoying.

Secondly op artstyle and pacing just aren't for me yeah the characters were kinda interesting but these types of long animes like naruto op just arennt that good compared to what modern shows have to offer. Also i know u are not capable of understanding someone else's opinion and have already made up ur mind that op is the best anime to ever exist but in terms of what? Not animation not music not artstyle character development. As someone who has read the original, I will say that Solo Leveling is a wildly overrated work. The plot idea and background are interesting, but the rest is not worth a penny. The plot is flat and uninteresting, the characters are boring, there is no development for the main character, he just gets everything for free without any effort. As an author myself I'm glad for the SL author that he managed to make a bestseller, but I've seen much better work, which is many times better than Solo Leveling.

@@Starry-kun I only briefly read the manga, so they may have cut out unnecessary elements to make the story interesting. Yes, big plot moves can sometimes be detrimental. But only when it was a spontaneous decision or a coincidence of circumstances. I just saw one gorgeous work where the author in the first volume prepared many moments for the future, and then after 7 volumes these references played a role. The more you read, the more you understand how big the picture and plot were made by the author. But at the same time, everything is logical and reasonable, there is no stretching of the plot from scratch, the growth of the main character and secondary characters is visible, etc. But it's all just my opinion.

Not everyone wants to watch someone betraying MC or the father not really being the father but it's actually him manipulating from the sidelines because he is secretly from another word that hates shows that are rising because he remember hir friend that died from cancer that no matter how hard you try a slime will never be as hard as a rock that is quietly waiting for a chance to stab the back of your uncle that is pretending to be on your side but the truth is he's never been on your side because he is from outside etc... Solo Leveling is a power Fantasy, he's living our dreams and we support someone that is not giving up. Sorry if we enjoy simple things.

Its a show where you can take your brains off, and just enjoy the spectacle, kinda like Demon Slayer. Now of course, the detriment to that is that it aint gonna stick with people for long
