Rio carnival 2012. Vila Isabel - Clip.
The Vila Isabel chose to make carnival with the history of Angola and its contribution to Brazil. With the plot "Você semba la ... that I sambo here, the corner Free of Angola!", The school closed the presentation on the first night of parades of the Special Group of Rio de Janeiro and showed that our connection with the country goes a lot besides the Portuguese language. The village found in the traditions brought by Angolan black origins of samba and made, at the end of the parade, a tribute to Martinho da Vila. The presentation of the school was signed by carnival Rosa Magalhães. The route through this region of Africa began with the front commission representing the African savannah. The members passed through Sapucaí in an allegory that depicted a piece of the biome. Blacks wrestled with animals and choreographed on the car. Angolan wildlife was the theme of the open-wing car. In front of the car, Gabriela Alves donned the fantasy of the natural wealth of angola. The first sector of the school brought revelers in wings that represented zebras, giraffes and African birds. The adaptation of the blacks to the new conditions of life were counted in the sixth car: "Festas de largo". Clandestinely, they recreated their cults with new religious experiences received from the Portuguese. Congadas, Festivals of the Divine and the coronations of the King of Congo and the Queen of Ginga appear in the sector. "The black king Martin and his court" appeared in celebration in the car that closed the parade. Martinho da Vila is considered the cultural ambassador of Brazil in Angola.
