Wilko Johnson did his machine gun moves, his duckwalk, and his herky-jerky dance while still tethered to a guitar lead. Wireless transmitters hadn't been invented yet. Imagine if he had been totally unleashed. Top-notch playing _and_ showmanship. That's rock and roll rhythm and blues 💙.

They had been invented, they were just EXPENSIVE. AC/DC were using them, they were a little noisy and distorted the signal, to the extent that the wireless box sound was Angus youngs sound, he had to use the wireless box in the studio to get the same sound. So you never know, it may have ruined Wilkos sound using wireless. You can not beat a guitar a cable straight to an amp!!

They probably had been invented, the Stones certainly used them in 81. What makes a huge difference now is Bluetooth earpieces enabling the musicians hear a balanced sound of the band.

Wrong: they HAD been invented but were in their infancy. I’d suggest doing your research before commenting. Ok boomer?

The pupil wanting spanked in class, made me laugh, he was caught on camera by her fellow students like a deer in the headlights... there she was, knee high boots, short skirt(frilly knickers,as she told Wilko) and her hair in bunches, Wilko all but admitted that was his toughest gig...glad he got to keep a copy of that photo...there's some lady now in her late 60's probably mourning his passing...RIP Legend! :)

Lee was actually a mechanic by trade. According to the other band members, if their 'tour bus' ever broke down, he'd get underneath - white suit and all - and fix it. Was the suit ever cleaned? No. They did dirt, and it was good.
