Aphelios probably told him about her. He *can* actually speak, he just consumes noctum flower poison when he goes out on missions/assassinations; it makes it really painful to speak, but enhances his connection to the spirit realm (which is why Alune can send him his moonstone weapons while he's on it). As for why he can hear her... idk. Magical vastaya bullshit? lmao

@@LuluHeaoh its alot of reasons first of all they were release close to eachother and they said a line about for every aphell there is a sett in a ad which made alot of people make the ayo jokes Design wise twink and humbo but more intresting is they have alot of contrasting colors but are both connected with purple which gives them a feeling of they fit together both contrasting personalitys but also both connected for a deep love of their family Honestly one of the string together ships thats just adorable to me

His father was just a Noxian human soldier who fell in love with Sett's Ionian Vastaya Mom before the invasion, but their whole relationship and having Sett all happened in Ionia. ...damn man... it's nice weather outside, go enjoy that maybe lmaooo nah but on a serious note imo I think it's pretty funny that riot took notice of the ship and is slowly trying to canonize it. Besides, it wouldn't even disturb already canon lore since Diana is in Ionia rn and Aphelios is looking for her, they'll probably have him go to Sett for information and maybe have them build a relationship from there, who knows! I think Sett and Phel are an adorable match and would have an interesting dynamic, they would make sense in the future depending on what Riot is going to go for and most importantly! The ship doesn't harm anyone. Except maybe insecure homophobes who project on Sett too much and get triggered by the possibility (which has already been confirmed anyway) that he is bisexual.
