I think it's so poetically fitting that Jhin's ult is the one to reveal these. Showing you the beauty in the mundaneness of a recall

Imagine ulting as cosmic jhin, only to see your teammates spamming recall instead of securing you against cc.

I think this makes dark cosmic jhin much more valuable now! The 1st one with zoe was also really cool. I hope they will have more of these bugs/easter eggs

It looks like stencil buffer is involved, like recall is working through stencil, and dark star jhin's ult also writes threshold value in it

I would actually enjoy Jhin's ult having a backdrop, same as his Dark Cosmic skin but unique to each, so Curtain Call (the name of the ability; curtain call meaning to have performers come onto stage after a performance) actually puts people onto a stage.

That has to be the coolest animation I've ever seen.

Actually a good example of how we VFX artists hide a lot of shit out of sight XD seeing the whole thing makes it look weird, but when you see it the way you are meant to it looks normal

This also works with Seraphine's Empowered W. It could be exclusive to the Phoenix Skin but it does work as I got this "Feature" during one of my ARAM games where I was playing Seraphine and the enemy team had a Zoe with the EDG Skin.

The fast that all of that is done to just be able to see a little part of it is amazingly odd.

For ppl not understanding why this is a bug and not a Feature, here it is: There are animations mostly on skins that change a space on the map, so that it doesnt affect the original map ground, they just created a second layer of it that just appears on top of the original layer, so when project sylas does the back animation it shows just a circle but if he does this on top of a bigger second layer animation like shown here (Jhin ult on this skin, Mordekaiser ult…) we are able to see the whole second layer animation of his back, this is just a programming issue but a good one.

Very fitting that Jhin is the one to bring out the hidden art in the game

Some VFX artist shared a stencil buffer between abilities. I wonder what other animations use the same stencil buffers. There are only 255 of them so there's bound to be a load

That is actually so cool, maybe riot should start adding these kinds of recalls but only the player with the skin could see it

I was playing against edg Zoe as jhin and this exact thing happened, her E makes this dark star field which is really cool

I actually experienced this im an aram game, also works with the prestige edition skin. I was just spamming the recall for fun and i realized the recall's background was visible when my seraphine healed with empowered W

I think this kind of bug would be an incredibly low priority bug for Riot to fix because if you think about it, these kinds of bugs might make people want to buy certain skins and considering Dark Cosmic Jhin is a legendary skin they could make a ton of money off of a bug.

Main issue, it’s a fun harmless thing sooooo unless it’s a super overpowering mechanic that infects the meta and makes the general state of the game worse for a while it’s probably not gonna last
