I've got those same knee pads I believe. Game changers. Pitch hopper comes in handy too. Nice work

Yes the primegrip knee pads are amazing! I won't use anything else and I always have them on even if I'm just ripping

A lot of hard work! Always wondered how roofers kept from falling off the roof! My neighbor got ripped off with a house they bought next door! I watched the roofers take off the old shingles and black paper but they did not change out the rotted wood, they just put on new black paper and shingles, I told the guy that was flipping the house, at first he didn’t believe me but next day we had a very bad rainstorm, it leaked inside, he believed me then. Then I got to watch them tear it all off again, replace the rotted wood and then reshingle it! It was great to watch! Hope you get a fat paycheck, you deserve it Roofer Girl!! 👍👍😎😎😎

Yeah, and I ain’t talking about THEM…but it was a group of Mexicans and they did NOT know I grew up speaking Spanish so I understood everything they were saying! I know they come to work, but you gotta know what you are doing and you gotta be honest and do a good job! On the last day when they packed up and were leaving, I told them” when you do wrong, wrong follows you” !! They just looked at me… shocked 😮

works better when you got shingle by shingle and make small piles as you go. Way better vs having a tarp full of small shingle pieces at the roof line on the ground. hour of cleanup on the ground with possibility of nails being left on the ground vs an extra 5 minutes to throw the piles into a bin
@jtaiv2798 Жыл бұрын
Cleaning all those shingles shouldn't take more than 10 mins even if they are in small pieces lol
@Josh-ww5kz Жыл бұрын
@@jtaiv2798 definitely takes more than 10 minutes. Especially if you go willy nilly and are the type of roofers to throw shingles onto shingles that are taken off the roof yet. Literally the one thing that pisses me off when working with new people is when they tear shingles up and they dont throw them onto a area thats already ripped 😂
@jtaiv2798 Жыл бұрын
@@Josh-ww5kz Yeah but I'm saying if all those shingles were on the tarp and you said go, they could be in the bin in 10 minutes. That's like 8 bundles of shingles

We'd tear off that side of the roof in two big pieces. Take about 15 minutes.
