A legend! It's interesting if you're in your 40s or 50s (like me) and have a fan history of Tom Curren from childhood and have grown up watching him, emulating him, and being inspired to still feel stoke watching him cruise today and still sharing his stoke. Thanks, Tom! Grateful for the years, the lessons, and the good vibes you've brought to the experience I love so much!

I never thought I'd get to see another huge sponsored edit from Curren ever again. I was appreciative of just some small edits and clips of him at home in Rincon or in Mexico here and there on Instagram or just former professional filmers catching him in the wild. But I always thought Rip Curl just never wanted to drop him since he helped bring the company back to being profitable and he's just an icon/legend and they just focus on Mason Ho or Mick. So this is fucking out-of-this-world sick/amazing for me.

I'm going to have to say this is the best surf video I've ever seen in my 53 years of existence. The style, Tom's funny oddness surfing school of thought that nobody can figure out but him, and his surfing is spot on. Great job to the crew making this.

Tom Curren Seems to be a wonderful guy. He was in his heyday in the early 90s when I was living in Santa Barbara, and I was long boarding, once in a while Tom would be out there at our local spots in Carpinteria.

It's great to see Tommy still has has it surfing wise, he's probably the best surfer to come out of California we were also proud of them in the '80s my friends uncle owned Op and his cousin Jamie was a good friend of mine in high school Tommy Taylor Knox and I have our names spray painted on the floor underneath the carpet at South Coast in Pacific Beach, we got tacos at Taco surf afterwards he's a living legend in California. Keep surfing tommy!

I appreciate the love from rip curl, because besides having op in common with Tommy I also had rip curl custom wetsuitsalso ,Eric bird Huffman set me up with you guys in the eighties. I get sentimental when isee Tommy's super video,ihad the sameflouresant yellow short sleeve full suit.i love rip curl,you guys have a shop on mission Blvd in Pacific beach. Oh and props to conner coffin, and Owen they rip.

Man, I was waiting for the next bit with Tom just goofing off. Guy's hilarious. Once in a lifetime style, too. And still ripping. Michael Ho, Peter Mel, Occy, not many still really rip. Oh, Gerry Lopez is the king of forever style I suppose. I sit home, body all broken, just watching videos. Can't afford the surgeries that would put me surfing again. Nice to watch some guys from my era still going. I'd be back out the minute I could, though.

To see Tom surf is to see the artform in all it's glory. His ability to read a wave and transfer all his energy with so much grace in an effortless and meaningful style has never stopped inspiring me. Kelly followed in his footsteps but was never his better. Curren has never lost it. Always a joy when you sit in admiration of his ability. Thanks Rip Curl for keeping the dream alive. There will never be a better ambassador for the purest of artforms.

The legend surfs on. His 3rd world title in 1990 will remain one of the greatest achievements in sports history. I mean, having retired to go ‘free surfing’ and with no qualification points or wildcards so having to surf the trials in every competition, wins the tour. Glad Ripcurl wetties fit my frame perfectly.

Between the surf sequences and whatever it is that's between, I just giggled, and went in awe, and plain laughed, and again and again...
