The addition of drivatars in FH3 killed a lot of atmospere in the series. The set racers in FH1/2 with the Ace racer duels at the end of each wristband actually made the story worth paying attention to - same with the radios too, imo FH1 has the best radio because the hosts commentate on the races afterwards with mention of the other racers

@@dedmajorI completely agree and this has been flying under the radar completely unmentioned for literally ever. I never liked the drivatar system because now it feels like I’m racing against machines (because I am) instead of racing against what felt like other people in this virtual world. The fact that every drivatar drives the same only makes this worse

@@LOVE-VIBES-X-PROJECT-CARS FH2 did not have a story. It’s just driving to different areas of the map and doing races in certain vehicle types, that’s not a story.

The main reason why is because they prioritized roads and driving for the map instead of making the location look good. And they had a real DJ to facilitate the soundtracks, Rob da bank.

FH1 and 2 are my personal favorites. I agree 100% FH4 and 5 are just so overrated and just boring to me. FH2 was so good, it was the game that made me buy an xbox one.

I played FH4 for hours just to get one car. After that, it had no appeal. It was fun while it lasted, I guess. 😂

One of the only games that made me actually stop & appreciate the start menu screen for several minutes. Perfect soundtrack & perfect graphics, can't convince me otherwise.

same, while i still play regularly for the purpose of hunting leaderboards that don’t even work most of the time, the game feels quite soulless without its online community around it. With multiplayer being down for over a year the game has been pretty much stranded in its entirety except for people like me

I don't think tokyo would fit forza well, forza's maps are big and wide open while tokyo is really tight, tokyo would fit need for speed more. Also need for speed has more of a car culture that would fit that location.

Could be a limitation in the Game Code, it is based on Xbox 360 Era Core Code, so it could be a Limitation.

And we’re not on 360 anymore we on the series x so does that make the devs are just lazy if they won’t do it? Because my console has the processing power and storage to handle it especially because the devs already tried to make it sound twincharged but now the think that with the Brands returning they won’t need to get the upgrades right witch says a lot about the devs and the future of this series and brand as a whole. We would hope the developers took months, scanning talking and planning for the return of these car brands so you would expect the developers to know what type of engine these vehicles have and the unique sounds they make. Don’t even get me started on how to Lancia Stratos sounds more like the metro 6r4 than it does the Ferrari Dino, which is a coincidence because it literally has a Ferrari Dino V6 as it’s engine

@@nickosmond It could be that the Limitation is that the Games Code can only handle one type of Aspiration at a Time for a Given Vehicle. Although we are not on the 360 anymore, the Games Graphics Engine, Forzatech M, is a heavily Upgraded Version of the Old FM4/FH1 Engine and has the same core code, the core code is 360 Era and thus still contains some limitations from that Era. This ancient Engine was Re-Used because the new F-Tech Engine (FM2023) was nowhere near Ready at the Time and is also Incompatible with the Old Xbox One, which is Barely any more powerful than Xbox 360 (about 20% and that's it for a base Xbox One)which, due to very poor Pick up on Series S and Series X due to the Scalping Situation, Microsoft forced to remain Provided for with FH5. Since Mike "Not a Car Enthusiast" Brown Stepped down and Torben "an Actual Car Enthusiast" Ellert took over as Chief Director on Forza Horizon (Ralph Fulton now being Chief Director on Fable) PGG has been making a massive effort on Improving the Car Sounds, Yes, the S4 now does sound Twincharged as a Result, but, if the Core Code still only allows one type of Aspiration at Once, it cannot be Simulated Physically, only with Sound. Hopefully, FH6 will use the New F-Tech Engine, which, being designed with Series S as its Base Platform (and thus is still going to have its Limits as Series S is less Powerful than One X, but is still considerably more Powerful than One and One S) should be far less Limited. If it can do Twincharging or not Remains unknown as the FIAT Group SPA License has been recovered too Late for Lancia to be in FM 2023 from Day 1, and the S4 is not likely to be added anyway as FM2023 is said not to contain "Rally" Cars either, so we may need to wait for FH6 However, if it Remains with Only an Upgradable Turbo, it will likely mean that F-Tech is possibly also unable to Physically Replicate Twincharging due to the Limitations of Series S, which has been Described as a "badly Bottlenecked, underpowered and outdated albatross around our necks that needs to be Scrapped!" , Potentially holding the Game Code back.
