Everything about this week was routine except the end of it! I was off on Friday which never happens and the T800 went "POOF" up on flames on the side of I-95!

An oil line near the turbo failing could be the cause of such a fire. Turbo's get really hot and when a faulty oil line sprays oil under pressure towards the turbo, you almost have the ideal oil/air mix that's easy to ignite.

ChemX tire and trim. I highly recommend it. My truck sat for about a year in the shop or outside while it got repaired(was totaled before got in it) and all sorts of crud got stuck to the rubber. Everything else I tried just soaked in and they looked like garbage. This stuff lasts about a week and a half at least 3 washes) before I need to apply again it’s less and less product every time.

Before Common Rail fuel systems you hardly saw any truck fires. Nowadays any kind of highway truck wreck or fuel system breakdown results in a fire. Plus the T-800's seem to be susceptible to electrical fires. I drove for one fleet with 45 T-800's parked at 4 yard locations, and during the 4 years I worked there 3 of the T-800's burned down just parked overnight
