Australian Idol has been one the most unpredictable competitions in the whole idol franchise, the hustory have shown it…. Unfortunately quite often incredible performers don’t get to the end. I live in the US and Ridley is why I have been following Australia Idol. Like many here who don’t win there’s a good list of contestants that have done quite well in the music industry (Jennifer Hudson, fantasia, Adam lambert, chris daughtry, Katharine McPhee to name a few). Bummed not to hear/see him on the show anymore but hope this just jumpstarts him out to his career as a recording artist and not stuck in any contractual issues as winners of the show usually are! Best of luck to the others and looking forward to hearing Ripleys music coming out!
