Today Dylan and Robert hook up the ripper to tackle soil compaction problems in high traffic areas of the field. They are trying out a different type of ripper than they normally run. Watch them as they use a Hay King Inline Pasture Ripper.

Man yeah!! Looks like the pasture ripper worked out after resetting the spacing!! That awesome when you hit the pan areas you can tell how compacted it is!😁👍 Awesome camera angles too!! Ole 46 digging , man yeah!!😁 Thank you for bringing us along, look fwd to more gentleman!! 😁👍👌

Catching up on videos. Those changes I would think are the ticket. I would love something like that to use every couple of years to help with compaction.

We have pulled it over probably 60 acres this fall. I like what it has done so far. I have made a few more adjustments since this video was made and it is doing a super good job now.

Thanks for showing the pasture harrow, I think you guys use in the pasture to, I would be interested in how that turns out.

Could you show us this field again in the spring. I would like to see if you can plant right into it. We are looking at getting something to hit hard spots in some of our fields.

I like your weight on the blade there men. Did you all remove some shanks from the ripper to help out the old girl ??🤣🤣. Thanks men !!

We took the shanks off so the residue had more room to flow through the ripper, but ir did help the tractor pull it better. We were able to pull it on through the hard spots instead of lifting up.

Why? Weve managed to get a crop in for 10 years without one and these are paid for. Would it pull it better? Yea Would it take 60 thousand to buy a good mfwd? Probably. I rather just keep that money in my pocket.
