Today we've got a fun little retail challenge on the channel. I'm ripping 2023-24 Panini Select NBA Blasters until we hit an absolute banger..or until I run out of blasters. We've got up to 15 blasters to rip today, and these are without question the hottest retail basketball release of the year, with plenty of opportunities at numbered Victor Wembanyama parallels and 1/1's. Let's see what sort of heat we can find today!

I just pulled 4 Wembys out of one mega 1 base blue 1 mezzanine blue 1 base thunder lane 1 silver thunder lane. And yes went to buy more boxes and pulled 1 base out of those should have just took my W and walked.

TARGET Megas I've seen have been MASSIVE, Walmart not so much. All but 2 Target mega boxes were really nice.

Speaking of 2 hits in one pack! My brother and I each ripped 2 select mega boxes yesterday and my brother pulled a Jimmy butler elephant and a Wemby blue cracked ice in the same pack. Absolutely unreal!!!

OK, I’m not saying you got worked, buuttt, I’ve opened eight blasters already and I got wemby to show for it. Two mezzanines one of which is a true silver, is the orange flash. Then I got one concourse true silver, a rookie Revolution base, a select certified base and two retail base.

From what I have seen in videos, the mega boxes seem to be much better than the blasters. I haven’t gotten anything from a blaster box.

Wow that was a tough rip. I've opened some blasters and megas. I would've expected that you would hit a couple of decent flash or silver and at least 2 Wemby base. Some people are getting very loaded megas that have 2 numbered cards in every box. I did not get those boxes.

I haven't opened any blasters but I opened 4 boxes and pulled 4 wembys. Cracked ice concourse and premier wembys and a true silver prizm concourse wemby. Also pulled a /49 and a /99 mezzanine antman. It's my favorite basketball product so far.

This was my experience from the blaster I opened. 2 cards that weren't base concourse or inserts. For $450, I'd just buy the silver prizm Wemby. The product is fun to open, but the junk numbered parallels aren't going to be sought after.

Mega Boxes are definitely my preferred format here and that’s not usually my take. But the cracked ice are so much cooler than flash for me and two more packs

These seem VERY hot and cold. I ripped 6 and got 1 base wemby and ZERO #'d cards. A buddy also ripped 6 that he got from 2 orders of 3 each from Target and EVERY BOX had a #'d card, including a Gold Courtside Jalen Brunson and a Tie-dye mezzanine SGA! He also got an orange flash and green/white/purple concourse Wembys.

what is the cost of hobby select? 450 for 7 numbered and 2 autos might not be that far off from what a hobby box would have. say hobby is 600, an idea would you might want to try is one hobby box (600) compared to 600 worth of megas and 600 worth of blasters. then see what you can get. I have a feeling the floor might be slight higher in blasters and mega but hobby will have the far higher ceiling.
