Күн бұрынSometimes it is much more fun to use the hobby tractor than a modern one. In this video we catch up with Cees and his mighty Ford TW-15. Normally this tractor is used for tractor pulling but occasionally he may show his power in the field, ripping up soil before seeding cover crop after harvesting tulip bulbs.

The old iron, Ford and Fiat, has a uniq sound. I used to drive a TW20 back when Force II wasn't event thought about. It was some awesome machinery. But i must admit, the 4 cylindred Ford's (7610 and 7710) sounded so much more awsome with the original straight pipe, with muffler inserts.

80's Ford's are iconic tractors, they have what modern tractors lack...SOUL. I'm not too impressed with the driver though, letting her stall and all that throttle blipping, bit school boyish.

If the backend hasn't been upgraded then it shows how strong these Fords were. Generally Ford tractors had the best reputation for backend ( transaxle- gearbox) durability.

Looks well tuned to me, little smoke when she's under load, only when revving up. Modern 250hp tractors would restrict the power at these low speeds, this old beast probably out performs the new stuff in the field.

We had this exact machine on a farm I grew up on. I used to drive it to the county fair and pull with it. My dad was pissed off at first, but he saw my first place trophy he warmed up to it. Strong machine. The other tractor we had was a John Deere 4440. It too was a solid machine.

We called them a “sub soiler”. It’s scary when you get a plow caught on a huge tree root. The front end pops up 45 degrees with no warning.

Yep had that with a deep ripper once. Hooked a rock in a rockless field on the far left of the ripper. Almost debeaded the front tire from the sideways jerk
