Oh my gosh....don't even think some of us gals out here want to own these type of rugged outdoor vehicles. I lived in Alaska for 12yrs and still have my 2003 H2 in Georgia, This video just inspired me to do something to prepare for next level of living in America during crazy times. Thanks for the awesome video...I'm sharing this with lots of my friends to follow you.

Man, these things would be good for rescue missions. Those days up north in the winter when a blizzard hits and it's so bad that they have to shut down highways, and any cars on the highway get stranded. Authorities advising that any civilians caught in the storm should rationalize the fuel in their cars to keep warm. Turning their cars on for 15 minutes every hour (or something like that.) These Ripsaws look like they could plow through a blizzard like that no problem. People could do search and rescue in them. Carry some jerry cans of fuel and go looking for stranded cars in the blizzard that are running low on fuel.

During the last months of WW II the Germans developed the Royal Tiger Tank with tracks 1 meter wide so that it can travel over snow, ice, frozen soil, mud, swamp, water logged soils, and all kinds of roads under all kinds of weather and climate conditions. I suggest that they make some modifications in their track designs.

@MarkMcCartney6 жыл бұрын
I love this machine, my only criticism would be that the steering looks to be delayed slightly probably because of the electronics.
@brendenpischke60606 жыл бұрын
Delayed? Not really. More like it doesn't register until you turn it a certain amount. It's a tracked vehicle of course. It isn't going to be able to make as subtle of changes with steering as a vehicle with steering components that actually rotate like wheels or skis. (Those are my observations anyway. I don't know if they are actually fact.)
@thewhiskeycowboy-official5 жыл бұрын
Why the steering is delayed, for me, does not matter... but yes, it is clearly delayed. And yes, tracked vehicles are able to make subtle changes as easily as wheeled vehicles. It all depends on the input to the breaks on that side. The more efficient and instantaneously the breaks can be applied, the more subtle the changes in steering. It is why you see military tracked vehicles in the hands of skilled drivers be able to dance. That said, the delay in the steering was the only thing that made me cringe when watching the video. That is dangerous, to say the least. And I have driven plenty of tracked vehicles and know there is no need for it. So there seems to be some real adjustment corrections to be made.
