Wow ! That's one of the best tracks ever made by The Menagerie ! I like the interpretation on the vielle, very rich with ornaments. It almost sounds like a human voice. I also wonder at the amount of expression that you can get out of a recorder using breath control and... how do you call these short "ghost notes" between the main notes ? When I was playing the recorder at school, my only concern was to close the right holes at the right time. I also like the dialog between the two recorders on the left and right side. I can't imagine the amount of work that have been put into this : writing the adaptation, entangling the melodies together, practicing every part... How many melodies are there at the same time ? Four ? And the video is now in ultra HD !... It made me install nVidia drivers on my computer just to watch it in full 4k resolution. My poor laptop is barely capable of maintaining a correct fps at that resolution, but it works. There are some new animals in here. I don't remember having seen a possum playing music before ! Thank you for this video !

I've been there before with lack of sleep or acid reflux hurting the vocal chords. I hope you heal and can sing again. In the meantime, I really loved this video and arrangement. it was so beautiful. And, even though I wish you'd do it without the animals masks so we could see your face, the animal masks actually add a certain unique character and quality to the videos you use them in, so that's cool too!!!
