I do not think that once you are saved you would stay in the catholic church because it's teaching is not scriptural. I was born into the catholic faith when I was 35 I felt something was empty in my life to cut a long story short I gave my heart to Jesus and my eyes was opened to the faults of the catholic church and I asked God to help me find a place of worship which I did I'm now 65yrs old and never looked back. I always wondered what Jesus meant when he told the disciples "some who are standing here will not taste death until they see the kingdom of God has come with power" but one day I learned that in the book of revelation when John was writing it he saw the kingdom of God come. So I believe when Jesus said that, it was a prophecy about John's vision and the book of revelation

I came across Pastor Nolan a few months ago after I had moved to a new town, and wished that I could go visit his church, so I checked out the info on his videos, to find out that it's around the corner from my apartment about 500 yards away. Big place for a town this size, but I can understand why. He preaches the Bible and the Gospel with no holds barred. 🙏✝️👑✝️🙏

I just love the sermon's this preacher preaches. I just have never seem one with such understanding and sharing before. He preaches like a big brother, non pretentious, and informative. Its hard to find sermons that are not dumbed down re interpretations of the old testiment.

I was converting to Catholicism until I read more of the bible and realized they go against it in many ways.

My father was Catholic and I was born ill. My parents believed at the time I needed to be Baptized but the church wouldn't allow it because my "biological" father had been married before so they didn't recognize me as his true child nor my mom his wife. He also could not have been a man of God because when my mom left him because he was abusive and sadistic, he kidnapped me from the babysitter and it took my mom a year to find me..yeh no milk carton children back then, so she had to hire a private investigator and kidnap me back and get me out of the state of Louisiana. I was emaciated and had steam burn marks on me. I had spent my year with him strapped to a highchair, and I was terrified of everything!! I've never been to a Catholic church, because I am one of those who studies everything I do before I do it and I don't agree with their teachings even though they're not as strict as they were in the 70s! To say, that without Baptism I was destined for hell and then refuse it, Makes absolutely no sense. Of course now I know better! I wish I was still living in Oklahoma, I crave to learn about Jesus and here I came back to Florida for my mom and now that she passed away, I'm alone in a state I really never wanted to be in. I feel stuck. People in Florida are not true Southerners and most are mean... survival of the fittest...The Hunger games state 😢

This guy is completely wrong about the Catholic Church. Jesus created a Church in Matt 16:18 with Peter as its head. In 107AD St Ignatius of Antioch, a Bishop in the Church, wrote a letter calling it "Catholic", meaning Universal. All Bishops today can trace their office back to one of the Apostles, at the Beginning of the Church. Also, there was no Bible until the late 4th Century, when Pope Damasus I and the other Bishops of the Catholic Church settled on the 27 Books of the New Testament, combined it with the OT, and gave the Bible to the world. None of the man-made doctrines like "Bible Alone", "Faith Alone", "Once Saved Always Saved", Symbolic Baptism, Symbolic Eucharist, and other such wrong teachings, came along until after Luther in 1517. Do you think this man's teachings are Infallible? Dream on.

5:07 is incorrect. Catholics do not believe that the Mass is a new sacrifice. The Mass is the everlasting covenant initiated in the Upper Room and completed on Calvary. It would be incorrect to suggest that Catholic Dogma believes in more than one sacrifice.

You do not understand the teaching about the Eucharist. It is not about sacrificing Christ again every mass. The Eucharist actualizes what happened on Calvary 2000 years ago. It is the same sacrifice by which the bread turns into Christ's flesh and the wine turns into his blood. And inculturation is not the same as synkretism.

Please note that in no way do we as Catholics believe that Christ continues to be crucified physically or die a physical death in heaven over and over again. However, we do believe that the Mass does participate in the everlasting sacrifice of Christ. First, one must not separate the sacrifice of our Lord on the cross from the events which surround it. The sacrifice of our Lord is inseparably linked to the Last Supper. Here Jesus took bread and wine. Looking to St. Matthew’s text (26:26ff), He said over the bread, “Take this and eat it. This is my body”; and over the cup of wine, “This is my blood, the blood of the covenant, to be poured out in behalf of many for the forgiveness of sins.” The next day, on Good Friday, our Lord’s body hung on the altar of the cross and His precious blood was spilt to wash away our sins and seal the everlasting, perfect covenant. The divine life our Lord offered and shared for our salvation in the sacrifice of Good Friday is the same offered and shared at the Last Supper. The Last Supper, the sacrifice of Good Friday, and the resurrection on Easter form one saving, life-giving event. Second, one must have a nuanced understanding of time. One must distinguish chronological time from kairotic time as found in Sacred Scripture. In the Bible, chronos refers to chronological time- past, present, and future- specific deeds which have an end point. Kairos or kairotic time refers to God’s eternal time, time of the present moment which recapitulates the entire past as well as contains the entire future. Therefore, while our Lord’s saving event occurred chronologically about the year AD 33, in the kairotic sense of time it is an everpresent reality which touches our lives here and now. In the same sense, this is why through Baptism we share now in the mystery of Christ’s passion, death, and resurrection, a chronological event that happened almost 2,000 years ago but is still efficacious for us today. With this in mind, we also remember that our Lord commanded, as recorded in the Gospel of St. Luke (22:14ff) and St. Paul’s First Letter to the Corinthians (11:23ff), “Do this in remembrance of me.” Clearly, our Lord wanted the faithful to repeat, to participate in, and to share in this sacramental mystery. The Last Supper event which is inseparably linked to Good Friday (and the resurrection) is perpetuated in the Holy Mass for time eternal. The Mass therefore is a memorial. In each of the Eucharistic Prayers, the anamnesis or memorial follows the words of consecration, whereby we call to mind the passion, death, resurrection, and ascension of the Lord. However, this memorial is not simply a recollection of past history in chronological time, but rather a liturgical proclamation of living history, of an event the continues to live and touch our lives now in that sense of kairotic time. Just as good orthodox Jews truly live the Passover event when celebrating the Passover liturgy, plunging themselves into an event which occurred about 1200 years before our Lord, we too live Christ’s saving event in celebrating the Mass. The sacrifice which Christ offered for our salvation remains an everpresent reality: “As often as the sacrifice of the cross by which ‘Christ our Pasch is sacrificed’ is celebrated on the altar, the work of our redemption is carried out” (Dogmatic Constitution on the Church, #3). Therefore, the Catechism asserts, “The Eucharist is thus a sacrifice because it re-presents (makes present) the sacrifice of the cross, because it is its memorial and because it applies its fruit” (#1366). Therefore, the actual sacrifice of Christ on the cross and the sacrifice of the Mass are inseparably united as one single sacrifice: The Council of Trent in response to Protestant objections decreed, “The victim is one and the same: the same now offers through the ministry of priests, who then offered Himself on the cross; only the manner of offering is different,” and “In this divine sacrifice which is celebrated in the Mass, the same Christ who offered Himself once in a bloody manner on the altar of the cross is contained and is offered in an unbloody manner.” For this reason, just as Christ washed away our sins with His blood on the altar of the cross, the sacrifice of the Mass is also truly propitiatory. The Lord grants grace and the gift of repentance, He pardons wrong doings and sins. (Confer Council of Trent, Doctrine on the Most Holy Sacrifice of the Mass). Moreover, the Mass also involves the sacrifice of the whole Church. Together we offer our prayers, praise, thanksgiving, work, and sufferings to our Lord, thereby joining ourselves to His offering. The whole Church is united with the offering of Christ: this is why in the Eucharistic Prayers we remember the Pope, the Vicar of Christ; the Bishop, shepherd of the local diocese; the clergy who minister in persona Christi to the faithful; the faithful living now; the deceased; and the saints. The Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy of Vatican II summed it up well: “At the Last Supper, on the night He was betrayed, our Savior instituted the eucharistic sacrifice of His Body and Blood. This He did in order to perpetuate the sacrifice of the Cross through the ages until He should come again, and so to entrust to His beloved Spouse, the Church, a memorial of His death and resurrection: a sacrament of love, a sign of unity, a bond of charity, a paschal banquet in which Christ is consumed, the mind is filled with grace, and a pledge of future glory is given to us” (#47). Each time we celebrate Mass, let us give thanks to our Lord for the beautiful, precious gift of the Mass and the Holy Eucharist.

If those in religion taught that there is only one place to go in an afterlife, and it is a divine place, where every soul is treated with the utmost kindness, and nothing but love ... even though I am no longer religious, I would think that the story couldn't do any harm. You've set up a straw man. Catholics believe Jesus was sacrificed once for all time also. The Mass is a participation and bringing forth of the power of that one sacrifice. You need to read exactly what the Church teaches about the Mass before you make a presentation like this. The acts of the Council of Trent lays out the matter very plainly.

I heard you Pastor to see the documentary movie Belly of the Beast. I love your teachings but in the movie Belly of the Beast biblically factual it's not Rome. It's right here in the United States. When they built Washington DC prior to renaming it Washington DC, the name of that city was Rome Maryland, Washington DC was built on Seven Hills and there's much more in this documentary that proves but they weren't talking about the country Rome or the Catholic Church they were talking about room Maryland where Washington DC sets today. The movie shows that all the monuments in Washington DC are of other gods.
