Been planning for 10 years to start my own KZfaq channel since I first watched Brad in 2013 (Infamous second son I think was the game 😀 I was hooked right at the opening intro) and finally I am able to do it after being more stable in my career. Would be such a huge dream come true have as loving audience as Brad as well one day (may be another decade 😀). Thanks Brad for the inspiration.

Matthew Perry the first boss is actually a real person . He was the American sailor who sailed into Japan with a few warships . He forced Japan to open its ports to trade with the US. Japan was isolationist at the time and run by the shoguns . Perry is considered a controversial figure . He did open the first relations between Japan and the us but did it through force violating Japan’s sovereignty. He is credited with helping to modernize Japan but his methods were questionable . It is why Japan had American military advisors in the Meiji era . If Japan did not adopt a modern military at this time Britain , France or Russia would have colonized it . This is a very interesting setting they choose . It’s the time when the Samurai lose their power and the Japanese empire starts to rise. Some Japanese see this time as a great period others as leading their country to ruin . Sorry for the long post . I just like history 😂

Fast forward to the Royal Navy as the 'forefathers' of the Japanese navy in the time of steam-ships and dreadnoughts, they blew the shite out of the Russian fleet. and went on to seriously almost remove America from huge parts of the pacific. They learned from the best and improved on it. Ultimately, not enough resources but 'holy shit' these guys were a problem to fight with?

I remember when I came across your channel when I was around 14-15 trying to find playthroughs for Silent Hill back then. I started watching your videos since I was single at around 25. You had a few hundred subs that grew to become thousands and I was once of those. Now I'm 37, married, have a son, and still watch your videos. Fun times, Brad, only fun times. From myself (as a gamer) to you, thanks for the never ending gameplay.

Hey @theRadBrad, I found your channel when you used to play outlast, Alan Wake and infamous series in 2012 or 2013 when I was 17 years old and since then been watching as a game enthusiast who is yet to afford a playstation or Xbox! I discovered your KZfaq channel around 12 years ago while you were playing Batman Arkham City. I was 26 then, and I am now 38, still watching. I even share these videos with my 9 and 6-year-old children, especially the games they should experience. Despite hearing negative comments about this game, watching others play, including your videos, has convinced me to consider picking it up at some point.

I found your Channel in 2013, Assassins Creed 3 I was around 9 years old I am now 20 and a Sophomore Engineering Student at the University Of Maryland. It’s honestly so crazy to me to hear your voice again, you carried my childhood. I wasn’t the best when it came to Assassins Creed 3 because it was the first Assassins Creed game experience for me and sometimes I would just watch you play the game for fun, I was home alone a lot and sometimes I’d just watch a marathon of your videos. Oh and Wow I think the first ever time I watched something sexual as a kid was through a video game you played, I believe it was WolfenStein that’s more of a fun fact but it just shows how big of a role you played in my life growing up and for that thank you and I could never forget about your channel THERADBRAD best ever video game channel.
