I am an old guy and I like the solid riser bushings too.

I bought an 02 heritage the bushings were wore out I bought solids and put on 3-in risers too much vibration for me I'm now adding the polyurethane bushings for less vibration. There is quite a bit more vibration with the solid.

What is the outside diameter of the smaller part of the bushing? (the part that goes inside the triple tree) of course, since Honda has absolutely nothing aftermarket, looks like an old mans bike and I cant afford a Harley, I'm modifying Harley parts to fit. I put 10" t bars on it, cut them and welded them back together to get the spacing right for the Honda mounting holes, but the 1/2-13 bolts were just a touch big. I drilled out my bushings (metal sleeve) but the rubber was rotten so one sleeve pulled right out and the rubber disintegrated. Now I need new bushings or might have to get a set of solid ones machined. Since Honda doesn't make new bushings, I'm hoping the Harley replacements will fit. short story long they have to have a 1/2" center hole and a 1"OD

I have a 91 softail springers. Are the bushing inside the riser not replaceable ? Doesn’t seem like it and if so does that mean I need new risers ?

I just put ten inch bars on my dyna and did polyurethane bushings so I wouldn’t have more flex but they are vibrating me ALOT what should I do.

one of my riser bolts is supposed to have a ground wire attached to it. what happens with that if i go to a countersunk/flush mount setup?

I think considering doing a t-bar setup on my road glide and it would be rigid mount with a solid bushing. I'm wondering about how much more vibration would you say that there is.

Hey guys. 2007 SPRINGER with 4 inch stock risers and 12in Outlaw Bars. Any idea what I can use to keep these bars solid? These risers are one piece with threaded studs attached. Testing in the garage I use any old rubber garden hose washer and they button down tight but probably wont get me around the block.

What about Nylon vs Poly bushing? Which one is better?

Hey man is there supposed to be any room to wiggle the bolt inside the riser bushing? Or is it supposed to be solid mount with no gap or room to wiggle inside the bushing?

I bought some polyurethane bushings and my bars still twist like with rubber bushings. Is this normal

My bars had a whole lot of wiggle wobble in them after I dropped my bike one night. The next day I rode and went a little fast off the line and at about 25-30 mph I got really bad speed wobble. I put my bike up after that not knowing what it was and have waited along time to fix it so I could get everything checked out at the same time. I’m broke as fuck now so I’m looking to do a lot of the fixing myself. Yesterday I realized the bolts under the bushings were loosened to I just tightened them up and they seem fine now. I’m still going to replace them but it’s good to know it’s an easy and cheap fix like this.

put the solid bushings in the freezer for a few days... drop them in and enjoy!
