I suggest if, its your first time then, try to stay in the town to experience the holy ambiance of Rishikesh. The ganga aarti at triveni ghat and Ram jhula is worth watching. Camping and other adventure you may consider afterwards.

@@damon2771 bhai there is no need to went Shivpuri side personally by vehicle unless you want to explore that area cause rafting wale arrange karte hai vehicle ramjhula ke pass se. Unki service mai transport include rehta hai. I stayed near Triveni ghat and went ramjhula at there office md evening tak wo wapas le aaye
