Rishikesh is not safe now ...my last year experience was bad ... Some boys try to rob me and my friend. We both were girls and after having dinner we were going towards ganga ghat and that time 2 boys came and ask my friend to talk to them she refused than they chasing us and even the rikshaw person was involved with them and try us to take from lonely road but we forced him to take us from another way. And we hide ourselves in other hotels so that they doesn't get to know that where we are staying. Even in the next morning we both were afraid to go outside. That was my worst experience and I don't want to go rishikesh now.

बिल्कुल सही कहा,बेटी तो बेटी होती है, बेटी ना मैदान की होती है ना पहाड़ की, न दलित की न सवर्ण की। हर बेटी का मान- सम्मान हो, कोई न भेदभाव हो, सब समान हो। सारे बाहरी बुरे नहीं होते, वे अच्छे इरादे से ही आते हैं लेकिन पैसे के लिए कुछ लोकल भी ग़लत काम कर जाते हैं।

That time I remember very nicely in Rishikesh there was no non veg shops within city limits. If you wanted to buy you had to go out of city limits. Dehradun and Rishikesh has changed a lot. Excellent Video Government has to seriously do something. Every states politician leader has to take strict steps . Every industry , may it be food , resorts or small motels , must pay fees, and not following rules should be punished heavily. When they have to throw that money for garbage removing then they will learn hard way. Monetary fees should be higher amount .

Had opportunity to go and stay innumerable times at Rishikesh & upwards and witnessed progressive deterioration of values that is obvious with so called development like encouraging camp culture. The incident is heartbreaking as we all consider these places as heavenlike. Your attempt to bring these in light is the only remedy against these miscreants because even administration has to wait helplessly till the strong voice come up from public. We eagerly follow your posts and have noticed that you always condemn littering, taking alcohol in public, rash driving, rudeness etc in many of your blogs. This will surely help against these culprits.Thank you very much.

I have visited Rishikesh in June 20 to 22 i cam all the way from USA. I used to watch Sharma ji video and shakshjji video and found very interesting and wanted to visit. BUT WHEN I CAME AND SAW Rishikesh my whole perspective was changed I saw only trash everywhere and pppl and all trash was going in to gangaji felt like how we are treating our gangaji felt really bad. We need to wake up for our new generation otherwise we will lose them.
