RISING STARS "playtime" with the colts is good for him. You can tell he's smaller than the rest. I love how SJORS keeps an eye on him when he's around ! RISING STAR will definitely come into his own. Seeing the foals play and just exist together is such a delight. I adore how Risy trusts and loves you. Also how obedient when you call them and they come; it's just so pleasant to see how well-loved these horses are. Such a privilege. And Johnny! Oh Johnny-boy, don't go picking fights with horses three times your size!

Rising is stunning! He has a sweet disposition and I love his blaze and white socks! I see he is starting to roan, a little bit, around his eyes. He looks like he is going to be a darker brown, when he looses his baby hair. Although, I love his chestnut color! I hope he stays chestnut! Thank you for the videos! So good to see Rising getting accepted by the other foals now that he is old enough to leave mom's side and stand his own ground. Hard to know with foals when they play who wins and who loses, although I think they all think they won! I so love the markings around Rising Star's eyes, I hope he keeps them when he gets his adult coat. Looks like Risy likes being your shadow sometimes, its realy cute how much he trusts you. I think he knows he is a bit special! When you called them it it so reminded me of a bunch of moms watching their children on a play ground and then deciding it was time to go. The mom's calling the kids, some of which come running and others that try to linger and have a few more minutes to play!

Aww, love seeing Rising Star playing with his friends 😍😍😍! So used to watching all the fillies playing together gently together the last two years when there was only one colt (Jonah Rein in 2019 and Minze Teije last year) in the field, that I didn't quite realise how rough and tumble young colts were with each other 😂😂. They definitely look like they were having fun together 😍😍. So pleased that Rinse Janko and Rising Star have each other to play with still now that they've been weaned 😊😊. Love the way that all the horses come when you whistle for them 😍😍! I wish that Heather did that when she's in the furthest corner of the field 🙈🙈. I see that the foals all love to be around Reintje still - she's such a great Mem, and little Reina is such a pint sized cutie 😍😍😍. If I didn't already know, I would definitely be able to tell that she's the youngest out of the Friesian foals 😍😍😍. Sleepy girls relaxing in the warm July sun 🌞😍. Cheeky Johnny 😂😂! Small ponies can definitely be surprisingly strong at times 😂😂. I know that I've been dragged up the yard by a 35 year old Shetland pony before 🙈🙈. However, Johnny seems to be saying that he wants to get back to his girls and protect them from the 'evil' Sjors 😂😂. This video definitely shows why you can't put him in with other horses though 😂🙈😂🙈! Love the way that when one horse rolls, the others will then roll - must be contagious like when humans yawn 😂😂.

Knowing Risey is so grownup now, looking back 1 year and seeing him so young and learning so much, I just bet it makes all our mother hearts so sensitive to memories of our children and days gone bye. Happy Mother's Day again.

They grow so fast and then want their independence... I cannot believe how quickly Rising (RS) learned how to handle Rinse Janko (RJ)! RJ wanted no part of playing with RS when RS went for his 5th leg! 😂 RS knows how to cripple a colt. Smart boy!

I live in Kentucky, and get to see the thoroughbreds in the fields, every day. Getting to see the Friesian breed is awesome! Risy will grow on your beautiful farm!

Judy, you must live near or in Lexington like me. In less than 5 minutes I can be out Parker's Mill Rd. Enjoying the horses in the pastures. Every road out of Lexington takes you past beautiful horse farms. It truly is Paradise.😊

This video has everything! What a wonderful day in the meadow! Birds singing, mares rolling, foals playing---what could be better!😆 And yes, Risy is beginning to assert himself! So far, RJ has had his own way teasing and bullying a bit. I was just thinking, "Risy, he is bigger and tries to push you around. You have to fight smart!" Just then, Risy snaked a good nip at RJ's hind leg! He didn't like finding out that Risy could get him back! Goed zo, Risy! You're holding your own! As Yvonne reminds us often, that's what colts do!

This was absolutely adorable! To see the colts asserting themselves! Especially Risy, he’s giving it back as good as he takes (Take THAT! Ya big galoot! Hey! Let’s go play!) And if I am understanding dates, Risy is not even a full 2 months old! And then to see all the colts together (Hey! We want in the game too!) I just wonder if when they nip at each other if it hurts? Pinches? And always when the AlphaHorse calls, the whistle , the hup, hup, hup! COME ON!! Everybody match up!! Foals find your mamas!! They are so! your herd Yvonne! I was a little concerned about Johnny! It’s either Johnny’s way or NO WAY! What a great day this was! I was watching twice. . . Johnny has my undying respect!! 😬

There's a riding stable near where I live. One of the ponies can be a bit feisty and snappy with able bodied riders, but on the days when the stables have disabled children, it's so gentle and sweet with them. Then back to challenging with the others. I love horses' emotional bandwidth.

It's so lovely to see horses that are happy and healthy and have such beautiful meadows. It's amazing how rising star looks to you for safety. I hope Queen 👸 Unieks pregnancy is going well. 😆 Jonny really showed stallion behavior. They can be so unpredictable.

RS is definitely your baby and I'm so glad you bought him! He'd much rather hang out with you than the other foals. They are all growing up so quickly! I can't imagine how the bond will grow as RS gets older. That is such a rare blessing!

For this reason, it is possibly good for Rising 🌟Star to have some time and space in which to make the natural adjustment, from dependant foal..to growing, learning , independent young colt! Believe he will do well, has had as good an infancy as could ever be wished for...with his mother, The Queen! Lisa 🌏🇦🇺🐨. ☮️💟🐎🐎🐎. 😷. 👍

Poor Waloubet, she seems to be the odd man out. Hopefully, maybe one day they will accept her. It's ok Waloubet, your are a beautiful horse too. Johnny, is the barn stud who likes to show that even though he's small, he ain't afraid of no one!! It's nice to see Rising Star flourish and also stick up for himself. There always seems to so much activity in the days and lives of Friesian horse..LOL Great video a Yvonne.

He was small because he was the youngest but his breed is usually very big, so he will become taller than the Friesians.

@@beany530 I think he will be gradually shedding his foal fur and the "grown up" colour will start showing from underneath...I guess. Skin also renews itself from below and the top layer peels off.

It's good to see Rising Star not running back to Mom but, pushing his tormentor. He's asserting himself well for being smaller. Its all about knowing your place in the herd. I love seeing him grow up. He's so proud to be close to Mom but, a big boy too.

Love this video. Riding Star is growing up but is still very close to you Yvonne. He plays with the other foals. Sjors is a good boy. He protects the foals and mares very well. All the horses are so happy. It's nice to see them roll. And Johnny is such a stallion. 🐎❤️🐎❤️

I want to call Johnny "James Cagney" tiny but crazy as hell. You can not tell him that all the mares do not belong to him. He is so adorable but fire temper in a tiny package.💝🐴🗽

Oh my goodness Johnny is quite the character and absolutely adorable!!! He was a real handful to get into the stall vs. the angel I saw on a recent video with a beautiful little girl riding him. It's interesting how animals seem to know how to be on their best behavior around children.

@@lisajoyaslanis Well dear everybody has salt in their body when, you sweat and it dries an leaves a layer of salt on top of your skin if, you sweat profusely you can actually see the salt. Most say your skin looks ashy or dry that's from the salt coming out of you. Horses love salt and if you have salty hands they will lick you as would a dog or a cat.

There always seems to be at least one filly every year that gets the blonde ear tufts. This year it looks like it's Sanne. Reina doesn't look like she's getting any highlights, she is SO black! 😅

Thank you for loving these beauties so much. I'm learning so much from you Yvonne. Your notes on the screen are very helpful when it comes to understanding horse behavior. I owned a beautiful Arabian for many years but it's the interaction between the horses that is intriguing. When will we see the most video of Rising Star? I'm sure others are asking too.
