this was kinda obvious from the start to me. The only bad side i see is his recovery does not grab ledge like cloud's.

Well his recovery is similar to little Mac and spiral recoveries, they have to finish the animation to snap to ledge. Or simply delay it a little! But I get what you mean! Also a good way to get the input rising tackle in the air is to buffer the charge with power wave since it stalls mid air. Hold down right after you hit B then do rising tackle after power wave animation ends!

And it's pretty good at ledge guarding. Properly spaced at the ledge, it covers all but one (roll in) option for get up. They get up normally, the attack catches them. They ledge attack, the invincibility trumps their attack. They jump, the attack climbs fast enough that they'll still get caught in the last couple hits. In fact, backing yourself up slightly, you can cover every option if you can get a good read on them. Drift away from the ledge if they roll in, drift towards if they dont.

I’ve been using down tilt to confirm off rising tackle, since people expect jab much more, they sometimes are out of range for the first jab but are still in range of down tilt. Also very easy to connect downtilt to rising tackle. Very insightful video, this’ll def help with my terry tech~

Thank you for explaining this, cause I fought a Terry today who was using this mechanic. They would charge then jump, double jump and by pressing down between jumps, they retain the charge for a broken anti air that also kills.

Gimr could you lab something. At ledge you can dtilt and pressure people on ledge. If you read get up attack you can do a charge rising tackle from the dtilt. If they roll in terry will turn and then you can charge rising tackle, normal get up with get dtilted and rising tackled, and if they jump you could either rising tackle or if you can read it, shorthop nair to burning knuckle. Can you test how reliable this is.

en resumen, el rising tackle es un movimiento con mucho poder pero que requiere mucha responsabilidad si no lo usas bien, te bloquean en la esquina y mueres; pero si lo usas como es debido, cargándolo de la forma más extraña y creativa (como con los combos de Ash en KOF XIII) lograrás aventajarte bastante.

At 4:22 that is Joker's c-stick correct? Is there a reason why you mash different directionals back and forth instead of just holding down and in at one direction? Ex. 45degrees
