I believe they buffed energy drink to make it now overall scale better than goat hoof for pure movement. Goat hoof still has its uses in terms of general mobility.

​@@SlyRocko Energy Drink is still relatively bad though, Goat Hoof does everything it does but also when attacking. I'd rather be able to evade when attacking then run away slightly faster.

@@Buglin_Burger7878 I wouldn't call energy drink bad by any standard - 14% vs 25% move speed, most characters (except mult and commando) can sprint while attacking, and move speed is the most important stat in the game imo so any consistent in combat move speed item is good (sorry red whip)

captains hacking speccial makes the Caffinator free(as well as any additional ones you spawn in the zone).

Dude asking for no drain is a bit much, squid turrets are already pretty broken with them being expendable, add some healing to them and they become overpowered

@@hanneskarlbom6644 hold up, how many times can you activate the caffinator? I heard ppl say 8 and others say infinite, but anyway, if you can decide exactly where you want the caffinator to drop, you could just drop them all in the hacking beacon and with enough equipment cooldown reduction you could have unlimited squid turrets

Squid polyps are just green scraps that require you to find a scrapper before you can recycle them. Except on the engineer. They can make use of it.

There was also cauldron with pocket icmb, but I thought, that squid killing is funnier. And yes, I'm still in process of passing eclipses, e8 on huntress, railgunner and loader, e5 on acrid, e3 on mercenary, e2 nearly on everyone and golden e1, so wish me good luck. To all readers, have a nice day

They don't heal themselves. The healing that is done to the Squid turrets is actually from the Engineer's special ability which places down a kind of turret that inherits all the items the engineer has, bustling fungus being the healing item of choice here because turrets don't move.

Void enemies, they tend to 1-shot turrets so always having backup turrets ready to place is huge. It isn't uncommon for a giant crap to ruin everything and waiting 30 seconds to place 1 turret isn't good. So with just 4 cells if that crab nukes your turrets... you can now instantly drop 3 more.

Lysate cell is a corruption of the fuel cell. That item added another charge to your equipment and decreased it’s cooldown. The lysate cell does the same, albeit for your special ability. So although you don’t get more charges on your turret, you do get a significant cooldown reduction. Considering that Engineer’s primary source of damage is his turrets having them on hand at all times is a game changer. Both cells are comically OP when stacked high enough and which you prefer will depend on your character and load out. I personally like turning my character into a living Katyusha Missile Launcher by stacking fuel cells, throwing in the disposable missile launcher and topping it off with ATGs and a pocket ICBM if available.

@@3boy779 you can have unlimited charges. But only 3 turrets can exist at once. Having more charges in this case just means less cooldown
