I repotted my one and only oak tree that stood 34 inches high. It now doesn't as it's had a trunk chop - but was it the right time of year or even the right thing to do?!
The original video cut out too soon so I recorded another to let you know what I did while incorporating clips from the original.
I wanted this Oak tree to become a majestic bonsai with nice proportions, but it will take a lot of work and time to get there.
I took it out of a pot where the soil had turned to suffocating mud. It was full of grass too. I potted it into a large basket full of home-mixed bonsai soil.
