Rislone Engine Treatment Concentrate starts working the minute you install and start driving the vehicle to help remove harmful gum, sludge, and deposits from your engine.
How does Rislone Engine Treatment Concentrate work?
Rislone Engine Treatment Concentrate gradually dissolves and removes harmful deposits of varnish, sludge and gum from the internal metal parts without plugging oil passages. These deposits form within engines and can alter tolerances, stick valves and rings, cause noisy valves and lifters, and plug oil screens and passages. Regular use of Rislone Engine Treatment, with oil and filter changes at the proper intervals, will keep such deposits to a minimum.
How much Rislone Engine Treatment Concentrate do I install?
One bottle of 4102 Rislone Engine Treatment Concentrate 16.9 oz. is designed to treat 4 to 6 quarts of oil. For larger systems, stationary engines and diesel trucks, use 1 bottle for every 5 quarts of oil capacity. For severely dirty engines, use 2 bottles (double dosage) of Rislone Engine Treatment Concentrate and change the oil and filter after 100 miles of driving.

True story.. had a tick in my chevy 4.3 and tried marvel, moly etc. Still had the tick. Bought this at wal mart and added in parking lot. Drove home and checked sound... it worked... less than $5... it really worked....

I have a retired cable TV truck ( 02 Ford e250 ) V6 with over 100K miles. I added a bottle of the regular Rislone Treatment ( not the high mile version) right before an oil change as I thought a few miles of cleaning before I changed the oil would not hurt. As soon as I added the Rislone and drove the van I noticed the engine felt much smoother when under load so I drove it a few miles, changed the oil and filter, drove the van again with fresh oil but no Rislone this time and the van went back to the a less smooth drive so I added Rislone again to that new oil and once again the smooth engine when under load returned. I now add a bottle of Rislone at every oil change in my old van. My v6 very underpowered tired, old van likes this stuff! My engine never had any tick but I had no idea adding a bottle of Rislone would make the engine "feel" better when taking off from a stop. Good Stuff!

It sounds smother, with less mechanical noise, at 2:04 than at 0:10, though I can't tell if the microphone is as close. I'll give it a try. My Honda has 170,000 miles and I'm just hoping to clean it out.

I'll give it a try and pray it works for a 2007 Chrysler 200 Sebring. I need to find better ways to keep my car going and not wait until later. I am getting an oil change now.

Dude you gotta drive it for atleast a few hundred miles. After I added this to my car even the oil dip stick came out looking brand spanking new, before it had that yellowish stain on it from the oil. I could definitely tell the engine had better acceleration afterwards too.

1987 2H diesel troopy No one on here mentioned OIL PRESSURE mine is low and its BY PASSING THE RINGS, oil cap wont not stay on when loosened what to do i am not doing a rebuild which oil additive will fix it ???

May give this a try. I've used Marvel Mystery Oil on much higher mileage cars BEFORE an oil change to clean. Have also had great results with Lucas Transmission Fix. Cheers

i added one bottle of the conditioner in my car with oil at 3000 m . it needed oil and i think it will clean up system and ill change oil in next 1000 miles probably less. i dont see no problems with doing this. risilone is great product.

It's hard to say I "hear" a difference, but I've put lots of miles on since, and things are running great! Mileage is still good and motor runs smooth at idle and pulls strong. To me, no news is good news. Just looking to extend the life of my car as much as humanly possible.

It CAN help if the tensioners are clogged with gunk. It can free up passages. But if your chains loose it’s not gonna work.

It will work soft sluge but might not baked hard carbon. It can reach under two ring. For top two ring you might try Yamalube ring free good luck .

Scotty Kilmer has a lot of info about additives and conditions like what you’re experiencing with your car on his channel. My personal choice for wanting to clean out a motor is Marvel Mystery oil. I’ve tried what you’re using and have no idea whether it works or not. It no doubt does. I had my engine worked on while using Marvel Mystery oil and the mechanic said he never saw a cleaner internal engine as mine.

Bull. Marvel mystery is a joke in my opinion. I use Rislone all the time it has a slick sweet blue texture and it literally recushions my engine it sounds like. Get Rislone for sure. Iv yet to try the Restore can stuff yet I’m thinking next maybe 🤔

Yep Merval is too old formula. They have new product like snythetic like not long ago. I use both but I more like rislone coz it multigrade 20 weight support sn oil that mean you can safe leave it entire oil change interval. Ps marvel is 5 weigh oil I make your oil more tinner.

hello the car runs great except for the noise still but you might be right about the vvt . I change the oil every 3 to 5 thousand.dont use a drop off oil. 220+ miles on it .go Toyota..thx for the reply

If my oil level is at full say 6.5 quarts do I just add it or do I flush out some oil

Good question I think its ok if its a little high cus this stuff is designed to work in thru the gears plusits only for a couple days til you change the oil again. If the oil is alot darker than before that means the stuff worked. You should drive about 100 miles with the Rislone in there 👍
