Also the two men were not wearing special lab suits that are used to protected from radioactivity or any dangerous substance.. they were simply wearing lab coats with apporons and gloves probably to keep the webbing clean and undisturbed. Also doctor ratha did not have to take any measurements to open the door which lead straight to the room. if you google radioactive suits on images... they dont resemble what the two were wearing.

Possibly... but Peter is smart enough to assume there is nothing to be afraid of... because all they are doing is making the bicable so radioactivity probably is not in that lab. And i think he knows that you dont need radioactivity to produce genetic spiders or extract their webbing. So maybe he is just smarter ..knowing there is nothing to fear. and if anything those suits are there because if the spider them they die... but peter didnt... he gained powers
