I have been looking around at NA Liquor/Beer alternatives and watching reviews for quite some time. I just purchased Ritual Zero Proof Whiskey (my first alternative liquor) and your description of smelling like Dip Juice was absolutely spot on!! HAHA. As a previous dipper, you nailed it. I am trying this with Coke Zero and it's really not that bad. I added a splash of Crown Royal to it and that made a difference for sure but, defeats the purpose. Thanks for an honest, and accurate, review.

Ritual products aren't meant to be drank straight up. They are specifically means as a mixer.
