I'm praying that this works for you as well as it did for me. My lupus shut down my kidneys, messed with my heart, my lungs, and caused terrible weakness and fatigue. Im sure you're familiar with all of these things. The day after infusion I would experience lots of fatigue, but other than that, it was ok. My last infusion, unbeknownst to me, had not been approved by insurance and I ended up paying $52,000.00 out of pocket! Its ridiculous how expensive these necessary treatments are. Fortunately im now on regular doses of methotrexate which is managing my immune suppression nicely. My best wishes and tons of prayers for success with this treatment.

I wish you all the best and hope this new drug works. I have 32:13 of 2 drugs every 3 weeks for breast cancer. Sometimes, I have body aches but mostly fatigue. Some days are worse than others. God has blessed me, so far I'm OK, not always great but OK. I'm one lucky gal.

It makes sense that you hurt that bad after you were sleeping all extra relaxed from the Benadryl. I've been there and just been so relaxed from muscle relaxers for instance. And the doctor told me that it's because when you're in pain all the time you carry your muscles in a stress mode of tension and when you relax that much that your body's not used to being that relaxed you ache for real.❤❤❤❤😊

Hi dear Kayla!! It really is so caring of you to come on and explain the infusion to some people who may need it also. I am in total shock….42,000 for one infusion!😮 Thank God that your doctor was able to do what she did ❤ As you were explaining everything step by step, it took me back…. Back to when I had to have chemotherapy. The process was almost exactly the same. You have to finish this bag before you get the next bag. Then we’ll give you your medication. Then you have to have another bag of fluids before you go. I want to tell you that you are one strong lady ❤ You hang in there because I know this is going to work for you 🙏🏻❤️

My experience was just like yours itching and muscle aches. I had a horrible headache. The next morning my lips were swollen and my eyes. I took benedryl. They went down in 24 hours. I could hardly walk, had to use my rollater for 3 days. Better now!

I am so glad your doctor was able to go directly to the insurance company for the drug. The cost is so outrageous! I hope it helps you. I went thru chemo a couple of years back so I know what you went thru. By the time they do all the preliminary stuff and then the infusion, it is an Al day affair! I had a seizure during my first chemo treatment. Not a great way to start my treatment! I also had the muscle aches in my legs after my first chemo so I know what you mean about the pain. They ended up changing my drug cocktail after that. I still had the muscle aches but not as bad. It took me a few days to recover after each treatment. Ugh! I currently have stage 4 metastatic kidney cancer in my lungs and my treatment will be immunotherapy. Not looking forward to that as I have read about the side effects. Stay strong, Kayla. I really hope you get some good results after going thru all of this. You really are amazing and very inspirational. ❤️

I totally understand with 35 issues with my health. I had to shave my head due to hair loss. Auto immune disease is no joke. I’ve 😢been sick for 17 years unable to work. I’ll be 60 the 25 th of this month. I’m in my bed all day cause furniture hurts. Know I am praying for you ❤

It's too bad they couldn't find an infusion site closer to you. That's a long drive after being at the site for 7 hours. I'm so glad that you're feeling better now. You may not feel too good but I tell you your skin tone looks healthier than it has in a while!! And that was not meant as a rude statement, I just noticed you looked almost glowy. I pray the muscle pain subsides and you get some relief. Kayla, I will be praying for you dear. I understand about auto immune diseases. I suffer from Rhematoid. Chronic pain I have fibromyalgia and a whole lot of nerve ailments. I have 4 bulging disc in my back and a. Pinched nerve. Also a bulging disc In my neck and pinched nerve and well as both knees are bone on bone. So no stranger to pain. Bad hips too But seeing you go through all of yours I feel lucky and my heart goes out to you. Bless your heart you take it all in stride. Big Daddy needs a neck light to take with on these adventures. Amazon has them now for $10-15 I believe .😊 have one in my crochet go bag all packed up so I have everything bi need for that specific project. That's the only time I work on that project along with what ever yarn I might need, needle, hook, scissors, neck light, etc. in my go bag. ❤❤❤😊

Hi Kayla! I am so glad to hear you are doing pretty good after your infusion. My son's former girl friend is very sick too and only 35. She was to start an infusion but I havent heard how it went. She broke up with him because she didn't want to burden him with this any longer even though he begged her to stay. Very hard on him for her to leave.😢 Anyway, I pray 🙏 that you will gain some reprieve from your autoimmune diseases. Take good care! ❤

I get that sometimes in the night where I have horrible pain in my legs & hips. It is usually when I havent drank enough or is I have sweat alot & it screwed up my electrolytes. I have fibromyalgia & for some reason that happens to me a lot! I also have ankloing spondylitis & that has a lot to do with it too. So far I keep plugging away take one day at a time, I really hope that these infusions help you Kayla! You are in my prayers, take it easy & follow doctors instructions!

Kayla I’m praying for you and Big Daddy ". You look beautiful in that top. Benadryl doesn’t help me to sleep I wish it did. Kayla I deal with muscle pain but I buy from Walmart “Stop Pain” get the rub on not the spray . The spray is very cold going on and that is bad. The roll on does get cold but not terribly cold. I could not live without my Stop Pain.

God Bless you Kayla!! I know what it is to be so sickly. I had Remicade infusions. Causes lower immune problems and boy did I get them in spades. I had Benadryl in my I.V. and that stuff BURNS!!!! Love to you and Big Daddy!! With all that Benadryl I bet you were exhausted!!!

Oh man wow my long term partner takes his twice a year. He describes it as feeling like the flu. Girl, I’m praying for you cause he is yellow after his and doesn’t function for days. But he looks and feels great after a few days. He has wagners vasculitis and it’s painful for him.

I had 4 back to back, 1 a week, of this drug. Fortunately I only had fatigue as a side affect. The results for me were minimal so now we are in a wait and see period. Non hodgkins lymphoma, low grade. Praying for wonderful results for you, and less of the itching and muscle aches! Each wek it took less time for me because they ran the infusions faster each time. Best of luck!
