Nour Oubenali Thank you very much! In terms of getting good deals I would honestly look around the internet and compare prices. See if you could possibly get an all-in-one price like I did and it should work out to be much cheaper. As far as do’s and don’ts, if you do decide to leave the resort and exlore, some street venders can be extremely persistent so try and ignore them. A little tip/ recommendation is you only need to be 18y/o in Mexico to enjoy the unlimited drinks and multiple bars that the resort provides. Hope this helped!

mytuyenv I went during the Spring/Summer months and the waves were medium sized, maybe about the size of the average person, nothing crazy. As far as the rooms I never heard a disturbance. The rooms are as close to sound proof as it’s going to get, very calm. Hope this helped!

Mindy Sebolt Hi Mindy and Thank you! I would highly recommend a room with an ocean view. The hotel is pretty much positioned so that you’ll see either the sunrise or sunset through your window no matter what. Hope this helped!

The excursions are separate and usually cost $75-100 per person, but they have deals where you can book 2 excursions and get a 3rd for free. For two people, going on three excursions I paid about $350 total. They have several different trips to choose from. Hope this helped!!!

Hey question, when you book Instead of putting 4 people a room , if you put 1adult each room. Would that be an issue ? because it says sleeps up to 4.

Hi, i’m not sure about Expedia specifically, but the all inclusive package I purchased through amatar does include transport from airport to the hotel and back at the end of the stay. That is something I would confirm with Expedia. Hope this helped !!!

The drinks are included in the all inclusive package, so short answer yes!!! Each room has liquor dispensers with 4 different types of alcohol! If you run out just call the front desk and they will refill for free! Hope this helped!!!

Hey, great video, just a couple of questions that I would really appreciate if you could answer. I noticed this was a year ago but exactly what month did you go? how was the night life? Like was there a club on the resort etc? And was there 24 hr room service? The last one is out of curiosity.

Hi! Appreciate the question ! I went around August which seems to be great for the Whale Shark Experience if you were interested in that excursion. Night life was excellent, there is a club within the resort as well as within walking distance from the resort. You will not have trouble finding something to do. Room Service however was not 24hrs but there is a snack bar thats open 24hrs where you can grab food in the late night hours which is of course included. Hope this helped!!

All the rooms have liquor in them! There were 4 different types, rum, tequila and two others. (Sorry I can't remember for good reason, i'm sure). I'm glad you enjoyed the video, hope this comment helped!!!

Other than the obvious pool and beach, which any kid would enjoy. There are fun dance classes that take place every day around noon. And i'm not sure I understand the second part of the question. Excursions are completely optional as well as when you decide to book them. Hope this helped!

There are activities that you can attend for free near the pool at night time, but if you’re referring to the excursions - those are NOT included in the all inclusive and will be an extra charge. Hope this helped!!!

As I said in the video, I travelled there last August, but as things begin to loosen up you shouldn't have much to worry about. Just bring a mask and practice good hygiene! Make sure you call the hotel in advance regarding any concerns having to do with the pandemic. Hope this helped!!!

You can book excursions to ruins like Chichen Itza and others nearby, and yes, the all inclusive Riu Cancun gives you access to the Riu Caribe and Riu Peninsula resorts, but they are too far to walk. You will have to take a bus or taxi as they are multiple miles away. Hope this helped!!!

My room was not ocean front, it was more on the side, but the ocean was visible. The food is quite good but not phenomenal, I would give it a 7/10. The views overall are great especially if you requested an Ocean View. Hope this helped!!!

Tiffany Hang Meeting people is always difficult, just be yourself and the right people will find you if you have faith. There are clubs within the resort that are quite popular and extremely safe, as well as others in the surrounding area. Other than people trying to sell you things aggressively, the outside areas/clubs are safe as well. Though, I would always advise being careful as a solo traveller whether it be Mexico or wherever. As soon as you pass through customs, there is one shuttle that takes you to the pickup area. I pre arranged my ride to my hotel through Amstar, so that way once I was at the pickup area I just loaded onto a bus that took me to Riu Cancun. The crowd was friendly, not too crowded if that's what you're asking. Hope this helped!

Hello! It's about a 30 minute car ride. If you book with Amstar they will arrange a ride there and back, but otherwise a taxi will do the trick. Hope this helped!!!

Although Whale Sharks are not aggressive and only eat plankton, the ship crew were telling me not to touch the sharks. Despite this I jumped in right on top of one and touched its slimey skin. The crew called me a "gringo loco" but it was worth it.

do you guys book freely on their website or do you book through some sort of discount app? any tips are welcomed. planned on making solo trip march 11-15 but need to find cheaper ways to travel :) booking flights, hotels, transportation etc

Discount sites are the way to go!!! This is not professional advice but I went through a third party website and got a sweet deal, just make sure the website it legitimate!!! Hope this helped!!

Colin Schwartz Depending on if you want an extravagant honeymoon or a relaxed one. The overall mood of the resort is very chill and laid back, perfect for relaxation. No hidden fees unless you want to book an excursion (which are really fun) or you leave the resort to shop around. Hope this helped!!!

I got a deal through amstar including the hotel, plane tickets, food and drinks (which are included in the resort) for 7 nights around $1250 per person. Hope this helped :)

Everything is booked through 3rd party agents which are stationed on the resort. You will not have trouble finding them. Hope this helped!

I’ve heard many Cancun beaches have issues with seaweed - they did when I was there. Did you see any sea weed ?

It may be hard to see, but the water was crystal clear! No seaweed in the Riu Cancun waters, nor anywhere in sight! Hope this helped!

When I went, the whole front of the shore was filled with seaweed, but was soon cleaned up
