Wow, from the looks of this video I can't wait to go. I'm going in June so hopefully the weather is nice and warm by then. Breathtaking views, food, drinks etc.. Counting down the days.

February is great in Cabo- lots of whales but the ocean is chilly. Have a blast and enjoy those unlimited Pina coladas!

Honeymooning for a week at the Riu in May. Can't wait. Any advice on contacting a concierge for any additional amenities for our honeymoon? I booked through Expedia and have junior suite ocean view room Thanks!

Layne- we didn't add any amenities, however I have heard that if you take your marriage certificate, they do offer something special. If I were you, I'd consider horseback riding on the beach, a private boat to lovers beach or an ATV excursion. At RIU, your can even take a whale watching trip right from the hotel beach. When are your headed to Cabo?

Great Review, sad to see the gym in such terrible condition. Do you know if they charge fees for facility use such as gym & towel usage? Also are all rooms ocean view?

When we were there, no gym charges, and yes, the rooms mostly had views or peeks of the ocean.

Hi, Is room 4041 a room that has easy access to everything? My wife and I are going in a few weeks for anniversary. I booked Junior Suite with Partial view so I don't know if 4041 qualifies or if I can be upgraded.

Andy- 4041 is on one of the quiet wings at the end of a long hallway, so I wouldn't say it's close to the action or very central, but you may prefer that as the bars and restaurants can be very noisy. it is very convenient to the quiet pool and a relatively short walk to restaurants. the resort is great- enjoy the pampering and have a mojito for me!

I'm going here at the end of the month and I have a question someone might help me out with. It was between cabo and cancun and I most definitely prefer cancun because of the wildlife and jungle,lol, I always loved that. But the family decided for this, my question is the following, are there any activities that don't involve the beach? I live in a beach town anyway and I would love it if they had some stuff like horses, or hiking, stuff like that. Any info will be appreciated.

almaperro There are lots of choices that don't involve the beach, but some of the best are at or near the water. For example, you can ride horses, but it may be along the shore. You can even ride camels in Cabo.You may enjoy a trip to San Jose del Cabo, Zip lining, or a trip to San Jose Del Cabo. There are also lots of off-road (ATV/dunebuggy) style activities, and even jeep tours that take you into the dessert areas.
