Taking viewers on a tour of the RIU Palace Las Americas Resort in Cancun Mexico. Showing both daytime look at the resort and nighttime view with all the beautiful lights on. Also a tour of the ocean view room we stayed in during this adventure.

I enjoyed your video .Thank you. Can you tell me if they have umbrellas on the beach in order to provide shade for the patrons using the lounges ?I have skin issues so I cannot be in direct sun . Thank you for your time .

The resort does indeed have umbrellas set up on the beach.

Do they have premium liquor at this resort? Do they take drink orders at all pools and on the beach? Thanks!!

Yes to all 3, they do have premium liquors. The inside bar may have more premium than the outside. Some of the drinks we ordered took longer with the servers having to go inside. They were still very quick! The servers definitely take orders at all the pools on property and the beach too!

If you are still out there how far is this to Congo Bongo? Shorter trip than the Riu Peninsula? Close to Las Isla mall or any mall?

Palace Las Americas is practically in the heart of the bar zone party central. There is a mall right across from the resort. For a measure of distance, I would say about 2 blocks, it felt like it was right around the corner. According to Google, a 12 minute walk.

Can you tell me what is appropriate for tipping at this hotel for various staff?

Tipping isn't expected at the resorts. But we have tipped maid service $5 dollars every day we were there. Whenever we went to a restaurant, $10. $20 on the first day your there if you would like really fast service by the pool drink waiters. Our guy got us drinks in a flash!

Hello, is this hotel for Adults Only? If so, are there smoking sections everywhere inside the hotel? And they played the musics too lound every night?

Yep, adults only. No smoking inside. However the theater section is open air, but I didn't see anyone smoking there though. It was loud yes every night we were there, however, that also may be due to the position of the room. My wife and I stayed in a room directly across from the theater. I wasn't to bad with the sliding door closed but we like to sleep with the sliding patio door open to hear the ocean. The music and loud guest didn't seem to calm down until sometime around 1:30a to 2a. That is what you get the adults only resorts though. If there is anything else you would like to know, please ask away!
