I am content with my 2023 GTX-230 for sure. Not interested in a 300hp or other upgrade. Plus I paid for my SeaDoo in full. No payments and got extra warranty.

230's are not speed limited so a SCOM will do nothing for it

Yes. Better on the turns. As you turn, the sponsons grip the water better and it keeps the tail of the ski from sliding out. Also helped the ski go better in a straight line. The sponsons are adjustable so you can have them a bit more deeper into the water or less deeper.

If you check out those videos that should answer your question.. in those videos we go over what the Sponsons re used for and why someone would want them to enhance their writing experience. Also a video on a comparison, it actual side-by-side riding experience comparison between the RIVA sponsons and stock sponson. It’s a good video. You should check it out for sure.
