62 years old here. Absolutely astounding how incredibly good this band is. Un. Believable.

I'm 63 years old and I thought rock and roll was dead. Then I heard these guys. It still lives, and Rival Sons has one more fan today.

This 57 yr old woman is a die hard Zeppelin fan and these guys, OMG...I thought I was listening to Zeppelin in that Chevy commercial and was head banging a bit but, HELL...Rival Son's just gained me as a fan. I love 70's rock and Rival Son's NAILS IT!!! I LOVE IT!!! ❤️❤️❤️

I heard a snippet of this song during a truck commercial on tv. I had to hear the whole song. Kick ass music, great rock vocalist.

I'm a Black guy, and in East Elmhurst, we had the first Black Rock coalition. As far as we were concerned back in 1973. We were the Hurst-boys or AKA black rockers where all the black rockers from the neighborhood and surrounding Queens would come and jam playing rock music. We weren't exactly outcasts, but we were different, and we dressed differently in the same neighborhoods dominated by R & B, funk, and soul music, we also played. But we loved that rock music. One of our favorite rock bands was Led Zeppelin. So when we heard Rival Son, on that Chevrolet commercial, I said, "I never heard that song Zeppelin from them. So I tried in vain to locate it, but failed. Next, I Googled Chevrolet commercials until I found the group doing that Zeppelin sound alike jam and was amazed how much Rival Son sounded like Led Zeppelin, but the singer is a much better version of Robert Plant skill wise. I'm buying their album. Rock will be back with a vengeance, and this time, they won't keep black rockers out of the genre as they did back in the rock era. I hope.

It cracks me up that the band members probably all have complimentary copies of Ride to Hell: Retribution. They deserve it for providing the best part of that wretched game.

I'm 49 years old, I grew up listening to Zeppelin, Sabath, Deep Purple among others, they definitely sound like the 70's but more powerful, greetings from Los Cabos, Mexico!!!

My baby girl is 3 years old now, I first showed this to her when she was about 2 and a half. I have never seen such a natural dance before in my life. The way she shook her body and rocked her shoulders back and forth was the most beautiful thing I've seen. This is such a wonderfully simple, basic straightforward-type rock and roll song, with perfectly executed performances by every member of the band. I never understood why “popular music” ever strayed from this style; I certainly have trouble understanding how monotonous forms of music like rap/hip hop, techno and industrial ever sounded interesting enough to take hold. Even disco was boring from a genuinely musical point of view; the backbeat is purely “whomp whomp whomp whomp” with what I perceive to be a moderately weak attempt at musical flourishes lumped on top. None of that could ever compare with truly creative, dynamic music, including this outstanding track.

I saw them open for Black Sabbath back in 2016 and was blown away by the music. So happy that more people are discovering Rival Sons!

It makes me happy to have this band found. The way of composing the songs and their bandwidth, adjusting of the instruments sounds, and last but not least the outstanding way of singing, leads directly back to the meaning that rock music stood for before it was commercialized in the 1980ties. Thank you for your beautiful music and inspiration!
