@@MikeD72 This storm was irritating, knocked out all the power to Lancaster... really really irritating when nowhere on the street has gas power, and all the buildings are electric only. Glad you got home safely though. I was in Barton doing a doll fair when this happened, I had a feeling something was up so left early and managed to catch the last bus from Preston. (they were stopping the service due to flooding, didn't know this and if I left at my usual time I would have been stranded).. got to Garstang and the bus had to turn back to Preston and go up the motorway. Fire brigade had to rescue people stranded on the Blackpool to Lancaster bus around Forton on the A6 though.

Sorry I actually don't know about that.

well actually we had no choice, if you only can imagine a different scenario. We had drove up the road only to find out we had to turn round. Cheers
