It got worst dramatically storyline makes no sense anymore

I randomly decided to watch seasons 4 and 5 the last few days, was almost constantly fastforwarding and questioning why I was forcing myself to sit through such torture. And now I have two days that I will never get back because I wasted it on garbage.

He deserved to be killed by Hiram for everything he had done in the past. And yet nobody sympathized with Hiram for what Vito did to him and they even used Vito's death against him. Veronica should have understood Hiram's intentions when he killed Vito since that man took her grandfather away

@happy baby uhh she's never flip flopped. And if you watched previous seasons she's TRIED to get him in jail and she succeeded but thanks to his filthy connections it didn't last very long. Plus, she's tried to be civil and cordial with him but he always has to have a reason to be vindictive and cruel towards her and anyone she's close with. So in my opinion, I think this is his karma. He's gotten away with too much for too damn long.

And you wanna talk about manipulation, Hiram used an innocent student to do his dirty work, and literally fucked his wife into getting back with him just so he could have leverage again and "fix" his emotionally abusive marriage. And if we're being completely honest here, it seems like you're a little bit in favor of him. You say that she's manipulative and that she "pushed" her way into the family business. She started her own business after she got herself back together and made her own way while hiram was still coming up with another attack against her and Archie. He used people for his own dirty games and you think SHE'S manipulative?? No. If anyone manipulative and flipflopy it's Hiram.

@happy baby ok i honestly don't understand the beginning and middle of what you said but to further re-explain my point, he's been horrible to EVERYONE. Veronica included!! And of coure she'd stop everything to see about her sick father. Anybody would. That doesn't make her a flipflopper. And she bought Pop's because he wasn't financially stable enough to keep it going anymore. So Veronica stepped in and bought it. Also, who's the one who keeps continuing this cycle of vindictiveness?? HER FATHER!!! Need i remind you, she's gone to mother MULTIPLE TIMES about the things that he's done to her. @happy baby You had no idea how manipulation works and it shows. Hiram is her father, and while some are capable of cuting ties with their toxic parents, a lot more aren't. Although they're hurting their child and everyone close to them, the said child is not able to leave their parent's side because at the end of the day, it's still their parent and no matter how bad of a human being said parent is, there's always still some good memories and love left because want it or not but every child is loving their parent and craving their love. Veronica loved her father and first craved his love and attention - she said so herself in 5x17. Hiram let her believe that after years she finally got noticed by him only to find out she was manipulated and used by him all along. But he's still a father, someone who used to be one of the most precious people in her life, so Veronica believed he would change and remembering how loving he could be when she was a kid, she gave him another chance, then he got sick and it's more than understandable that she forgot all about his wrongdoings because she feared Hiram is going to die. It's her father after all and although he had hurt her, she still cared for him. That's a typical toxic relationship between a manipulator, in this case Hiram, and his victim. It's even more complicated if the abuser is a parent and a victim is a child, a minor. And you are really out there blaming a victim for being used and manipulated by one of the most important people in her life? Are you nuts? Or are you just typical barchie fan who's looking for a reason to hate on Veronica and prove how she's not worthy of Archie? Wouldn't be surprised if that's the case.

I don't see how any of this is an overreaction. He literally bought a prison so he could use it as a drug lab, hired a teenage boy as muscle for hire and tried to have him killed on multiple occasions, funded an illegal gang of thieves, drug dealers and violent hoodlums, treated his wife like crap, emotionally manipulated his daughters, deconstructed a township for a payday, murdered dozens of people and then BOMBED A HOUSE. That's just to name a few of the terrible things he's done. Hiram isn't just a mobster king pin anymore, he's a literal TERRORIST. So no, it wasn't an overreaction. In fact, given that he planted a bomb in Archie's house and chose to detonate it AFTER he was exiled, I'd say it was too lenient a punishment. Veronica should have shot him right between the eyes and been done with it right then and there.
