I belong to Kota. Chambal river is among the most beautiful and cleanest rivers in the country. A beautiful riverfront kindles self-respect and proud in every inhabitant of the city, and also upgrades the whole city.

Clean the river, stop sewage influx , remove encroachments and illegal constructions. It will regenerate on its own. Riverfront development is a land monetising scheme .

Report में riverfront के अच्छे दृश्य होते तो अच्छा होता। पर्यावरण जानकार बस यही कह रहे थे की सरकार को चंबल के सौंदर्यीकरण के साथ स्वास्थ्य पर भी ध्यान देना चाहिए, पर आखिर में ये जोड़ दे रहे थे की ये riverfront बनाना सरकार की गलती है। कैसे गलती है उसपे कुछ खास रोशनी नही डाली

Bro the problem is most of you are uneducated. If you want to know about city planning then study big cities. Look at China , how they develop their cities. You have a dirty congested city where nothing works properly but politicians are busy making river fronts for show. Thats not the way you develop a city , it creates more problems. But of course if people like you had knowledge and education you will ask the right questions to politicians.

I think you don't know anything about Kota Congress did similar work in 2012 when there was no Modi😂😂 And BJP started construction of a 1.5 Kms long flyover in 2017 it was inaugurated in 2022. Except this they did nothing

the problem is most of these projects are done without a overall cohesive urban planning. These are done just as little tourist spots . Thats the most unfortunate part . While the city can be dirty , lack of space to walk in the street , water clogging and drainage is major issue but they take the easy path and make some structures near the river. lol Everyone wants some cheap claps.

India is at the absolute bottom of the world in terms of GDP per capita and only a few sub saharan countries are poorer. So expecting Thailand-like infrastructure itself is incorrect. And there are some breeder states where the birth rate is still higher than 2 and these states are as poor as Burundi. So no matter how well you build a city, people from these states will come and create a slum in your city. And unlike China, India can't just remove people who build illegal settlements because of dignity.

कोटा को अगर चाहे तो आईटी हब बनाया जा सकता है लेकिन राजस्थान में चाहे बीजेपी हो या कांग्रेस कुछ नहीं करती आज राजस्थान सिर्फ टूरिस्म के दम पर चल रहा है खेती भी इतनी अच्छी नहीं है यहां पर। कोटा में कोचिंग के अलावा कुछ भी नहीं है , अगर एलेन कोटा छोड़ दे तो कोटा खाली हो जाएगा एक अच्छा कॉलेज तक नहीं है कोटा में किसी भी फील्ड का और कोटा में कॉलेज हैं ही कितने से। कोचिंग वाले अगर चाहे तो वी आई टी जैसे कॉलेज यहां शुरू कर सकते हैं

This is a much needed first step. None of the Indian cities can be attributed as "livable". So far Sabramati river front is the best though nothing world class. But very commendable.. Ayodhya is another possible candidate and some work has begun. But the big problem is the attitude and behavior of North Indians, specifically Hindi speaking people who have zero civic sense. Just before viewing this video, I saw a video of developmental work 7n the PM's constituency Varanasi. I was shocked and disgusted to see just installed red stoned areas being defaced by guys urinating and defaulting openly without even caring that they were being filmed. That is UP, but so is Rajasthan, Bihar, and all Hindi speaking areas. The publuc never riades its voice or takes action unlike in other countries. This crooked attitude of Indians makes India ugly, filthy, a laughing stock and unlivable.

A problem with this Riverfront is that there is very less to no greenery. Atleast makes spaces to plant some trees. Don't concretise all of it. Also what's this obsession of INC with the Family. As if naming stadiums, airports etc. were less now even Riverfronts are not spared.🤦‍♂️ Maybe should have installed statues of ancient kings & queens etc. or even famous tribals etc. who ruled Chambal region.
