Yet we can ussually see her more often her singing in chtuch or charities. She won from cancer and kept her singing didnt give up in her illness. She is the best best technical singer in Korean music industry, and seriously technically she’s even up there with the vocal legends like Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston. She seriously has nothing but A+ mazing performances, she is heavily involved in the process of the arrangements her own performances. I really love how you guys gave props to the background singers and the orchestra and the violinist, cuz they were freaking amazing in accompanying with Sohyang’s magnificent vocals. This rendition took a big step further from the original version, while still manages to deliver the beautiful melody and lyrics of the song. And yes that just shows her musicianship and just how humble Sohyang is. She doesn’t need to oversing the entire time to prove herself, and used her voice as an instrument to deliver the message of the song. Also, SM entertainment as well as other major Korean entertainment companies have invited her to join their companies, but she declined them all because she didn’t want to go mainstream. It took her years to go into big TV shows like this to perform, yet her goals have stayed the same: She sings to bring happiness and comfort to people, not to be famous. She’s a Christian singer so she has lots of church performances and gospel songs too. Monroe and Khadija were so right, she has so many more aspects of her vocals that she has to offer. It’d be hard to choose which performances of her to recommend cuz all of them are just freaking amazing. I love SoHyang and it's great seeing more people exposed to her. Some of my favorite performances of hers are her covers of "Lean on Me" (immortal songs), "I Have Nothing" (DMC Festival), and "Mona Lisa" (King of Masked Singer). I know King of Masked Singer is strict when it comes to copyrights, so I'm not requesting a reaction, but it's amazing and you guys should really check it out, as well as her other king of masked singer performances, they're all amazing tbh.

Sohyang is a survivor of uterine cancer, which was diagnosed when she was only on her 20s, she recovered but was rendered infertile and it was a big impact in her life. Because of this and many other reasons, she has stated that her goal is to use her voice to comfort people who are going through difficult times. Well, I have to admit that I had cried more than once hearing her sing. She is a really nice and beautiful person, she loves singing and she says it was what gave her reasons to move on and continue with her career. Please support this beautiful woman💙
