Avi has released several more singles since this one and has started touring. These songs are turning out to be a concept album. Every single song came out of his struggles and his aim to always keep hoping things would get better. They are not dark but they gently touch broken places in people and the music is composed to set a mood of strength or hope. This body of work is turning out to be powerful in it's scope, & it has taken a bit for me to realize that.

Let me first say I do not know anything about any of you so I am coming to this cold: I was fascinated as I watched your reactions. I believe I saw a few emotions I expect you did not count on when you decided to react to this. Let me see: I think I saw someone who was perhaps raised in a southern church environment and recognized the emotional pull of the chanting feel of this piece. I am pretty sure I saw a response to the call to action that this 'change' was calling for in those of you who know change is needed and feel, when hearing this anthem, that perhaps it is on the horizon. I know beyond a doubt that all of you had chills at some point, and perhaps had to suppress the urge to shed tears. You are not alone. I was intensely touched and at the same time, disturbed by this performance. It is an anthem for the ages. Not sure Avi had that in mind when he composed and performed this, but he may have given us our marching orders. I feel the change. Don't ya'll?
